I know I'm probably in the minority of most people on the forum in that I play on the 360 rather than on a comp but I had a thought that would help us console junkies out. Given the way that the UI is set up I found it to be something of a chore to micromanage my party in a way like NWN or BG would have allowed. So for me tactics are a bread and butter sort of thing that I've really gotten into using and I had a thought during one of my recent playthroughs.
This particular playthrough had Morrigan as my only mage so she double dutied as Healer and DPS. I noticed that it takes 4 tactic slots just to set up the basic healing on her and since I really wanted her CC'ing as much as possible this hurt me in the end. I was thinking that if we had a tactic choice of "Ally or Self" it would help me out a ton being that I had to set up my Heal/Regenerate for both my Ally's life and for Self not to mention the 2 slots for setting up Force Field (I use it as an "Oh crap" button rather than Taunt, FF, Profit). Thats 6 slots dedicated purely to her healing endeavors. Clearly this limited my choices for her remaining duties and I felt that she was not performing her Crowd Control as much as I would have liked.
Just was wondering if anyone else found themselves wanting something like this or if I'm just someone who needs to go and buy the PC version.
