i have to say thanks, to luminaries of a genre that i am glad to have been a part of since they designed a world of decisions and most important of all, a world where i cared about the NPCs i interacted with.
they were the best dunegeon master i could have asked for.
and in the late 90s, while at a friends house who had a copy of PC Gamer, i read about a game inside based on a universe i knew and loved, D&Ds Baldur's Gate.
within months of reading that article i bought a gaming PC for the 1st time in my life. it was because of a company i came to know and love, Bioware.
maybe every game that was devloped wasn't what i always expected, but there was always a wonderful surprise, and i'm happy for every Bioware game i bought, often times i would buy two, one for the PC and one for the living room.
so goodbye to ray and greg, two gentlemen whos presence will be missed while i explore Thedas, the Republic and the future.
CHEERS.

It's good they left before EA dismantles the company they built in front of their eyes. After DA3 bombs Bio is going to be making F2P facebook games for the rest of ever.
You know, I read a rumor Ray and Greg retired in large part to their negative fanbase draining them. I'm starting to see that as being true.
Anyways, Flynn said the ME team is making another ME game, they're also making a brand new universe/IP(ME team), and DA3 in development. That's three games on their plate. I can't wait to see the new IP. Bioware is great at creating new universes. I'm hoping it's a mdern espionage RPG like Alpha Protocol. That would be AWESOME. Or anything in a modern setting. They have the fantasy and sci-fi, time for something new...

It may be negative, but why don't you ask Westwood studios or Origin games how likely that is to happen? We all know what EA cares about, and right now they've got more in Bio than Bio has given back. That's not a good position to be in.
