There is an option in SCS to notinstall tobex, just need to change a value in one of the setup files.

I think TobEx came in before SCS2, possibly with rogue rebalancing. 4 hours later I finished installing mods, and then discovered BG2 was unusably slow. A cursory google search fingered TobEx as a possible cause of slowing down in wine, but I didn't want to Weidu it out because that would have taken hours, so I used the rampaging bull method of mod removal.
