after updateing origin did you re allow it on the firewall,

did you try deleteing the original origin entry and then go through the add allowed full access process ?
if your using mcaffee disable netguard (it just slows down your internet anyway) did you disable upnp discovery, ssdp (services.msc) and network discovery (under sharing center advanced options)
if you did all of those maybe try navigating to the ea website, uninstall origin and then re install it from the ea website, just dont touch the me3 install.

yeah i have been getting this cursed error since i can remember... i have tried everything believe me... heck i have been waiting for 4 months for answer... gotta love the ****s working at EA.. no customer support whatsoever.. bastards...
