Redcliffe is the first place I've gone too after Lothering... So I don't have Wynne.
I have the option to go to the Circle Tower and get their help, but I hear you have to do some quests before you can get their help for this mission.
Will that take up too much time and somehow ruin this current quest? Or will it be put on 'hold' until I have the necessary materials?
Don't want to kill either one, but don't want to somehow ruin the quest. As I feel from a RPing sense leaving a demon kid in control of this castle for any longer period of time could be.. Problematic.
Question about Conner / Isolde quest at Redcliffe Castle.

No you can go to the circle and complete it then return to help Connor.

Ok cool, because Isolde said that "Connor will not remain passive forever" So is there any kind of time limit?

The most important part in this thing is
1] dont kill Jowan, instead set him lose and tell him to help, this will unlock Blood magic,
if you shortly after ask him about what he has to say about Connor (when you talk with Iselde etc)
If you are a mage, have Jowan send you into the fade, and after 3 fights or so with Connor/Desire demon, talk to her and demand arcane secrets, this will unlock Blood magic.
If you are not a mage, send Morrigan instead.
Oh, by the way, sacrifice that woman Isolde, she is a small sacrifice in the larger scheme of things,
like for example making You more powerful !
This way you dont have to go to tower this time around

To clarify, Morrigan (nor any other NPC) can not be used to unlock the Blood Mage specialization in DAO. While NPC mages can enter the Fade to face Connor's demon, they cannot bargain with it. Only a mage Warden can do both. (The specialization can, however, be unlocked by a Warden of any class in DAA.)
