Matter of opinion. I liked the endings, true there were things they could have added, but still, I liked them, EC included

Bad writing is a  fact and is proven through various analysis.

IT looks at the exact same events through a different lens. Nothing is added. Therefore, nothing is fanfiction. Like Legion said:
"We are many eyes looking at the same things. One platform will see things another does not and will make different judgements."
We both saw the exact same things, yet we came to different conclusions based on those observations.

IT requires me to invent a narrative through induction of imagination to back up my poor understanding of it.

Imagination is not required. Just because you didn't clue in, doesn't mean others didn't. I know many people who, while playing ME3 for the first time, realized it was an indoctrination attempt before they even finished the end sequence. I also know many people, myself included, who realized this as a possibility before we even played ME3. Did you know people put together that the ventkid wasn't real 1 year before release?

My stament stands: Shepard being indoctrinated is a creation of ones imagination as at no point the narative ever profoundly refers to this scenario.

A YouTube commentary? So, you're using so random guy's opinion to back up your opinion? That's just more opinion Posted Image

As for the list, do you really want me do answer it?

Shepard being indoctrinated is the product of one's imagination, as it's not at all in the narrative and without that, you have nothing to back your statement up, which just happend.

It's an objective analyis, at no points does the Author let's his option interfere with his observations.

Wrong. We have plentiful foreshadowing and established lore to back us up.

Opinion is a subjective belief.

At no point is an subjective belief ever used to form a conclusion in that video.

So, MajorKellyRisner?
I assume you are a so-called pro-ender?
After seven pages of discussion, which has more to it, the Indoctrination Theory or the Bad Writing Theory?
BTW, I don't know if this was mentioned before, but seeing that Banshee is here, I suppose it already was.
Regardless:
If you take everything literal/at face value, do you also take the statement of a BW staff literal that some elements of ME3 are not to be taken at face value? This is just out of curiousity. I'm not trying to offend anybody.
Edit: I am refering to you since the other non-IT supporter thread triggered my ignore function out of obvious reasons.

Your statement has nothing to support it other than the "bad writing argument". Really? All of the clues and evidence supporting IT is just "bad writing"?? IT was not made up because people were angry at the ending and thought "You know what, the ending didn't really happen". Open your ****ing eyes, the IT has the evidence to back it up, through all of the Mass Effect games. Use your head. The clues are there for a reason.

Wrong, it depends on the matter of how people respond to the game and endings. If one liked the endings, they can state their opinion. If they didn't, visa versa. But it doesn't explain bad writing if it just one person opinion. there are no facts for it, just opinion
