Hale: You know, I heard stories about reapers a few days ago. Nasty lot. Something about worshiping ancient monsters and killing innocent folk. Someone should do something.
Meer: Honey, we're just shepherds. Leave ancient monsters and saving the world to someone else.

As David Gaider stated once "... having a major character in a game sound just like that major character from the previous game wouldn't do.... " So, we can forget about our favorites from previous games. And though chances that this particular tread will be read (not to mention taken into consideration) by developers are close to none. Still, we can dream, can we?
A lot of my favorites (Steve Blum, Gideon Emery, Adam Howden, Eve Myles, Victoria Kruger and - oh, so many - others) are off the list then. But there are still actors I personally would love to hear. Like Troy Baker, for example. One of the sexiest voice in the game industry, yet you never get him for LI acting! No fair! (curse you, BW, for Zenith) Or Mark Bazeley. God, what a voice! And he was only doing Additional Voices in DA2 - can we hope to get him for real action now? There are way to many to list but those two as VA for major characters would make the happiest gamer in the world.
Oh, and Grey DeLisle as a female protagonist - is a dream.
Whose voice would you like to hear in the game? As protagonist or companion?
Eve Myles. As anything. Doesn't even have to be Merrill.
As for other choices? Troy Baker. Jason Spisak. Nolan North. Josh Keaton. Grey DeLisle (agreed). Kari Wahlgreen. Laura Bailey. Jennifer Hale (Mass Effect's over now, so it won't seem strange). Juliet Landau. Courtnee Draper. Bruce Greenwood. Vanessa Marshall. Kelly Hu. Maggie Q (great actress *and* wicked voice). And Lacy Chabert (voicing a new Merrill/Aerie like love interest) just to name a few.

I agree with all of these, apart from Troy Baker. I have yet to forgive him for killing Thane. And I'm kind of angry at Felicia Day, (as much as I love her), for not exacting my revenge against him while working on Guild Wars 2 with him.

Huh, has Jennifer Hale ever done a british accent?
Bastila in KotOR. I prefer her native accent, though.

David Tennant for male PC, or somebody from Starkhaven
David Tennant's real-life Scottish accent or David's dodgy Mockney Tenth Doctor accent? In any case I would be okay with him in it so long as he gets better material than he often got during his run and so long as he didn't ham it up too much...

I really liked the woman, who's name escapes me at the moment, who did FemHawke's voice in DA2, and Dr. Cole in ME3... but if Hawke isn't in the story, her voice wouldn't really work anywhere else... Maybe sarcastic Hawke during character creation, like how Marina Sirtis was the computer voice in the beginning of Mass Effect. Ah well, maybe Michelle Rodriguez instead... I mean, if we're dreaming.

Also I heard that Steve Valentine would not be returning to do Alistair </3
Means, we will not see Alistair in DA3 even as cameo?
Wow. I think I just died inside.
No kidding. Do you replace the actor? That would be extremely jarring. Hope that's not true. Otherwise, Alistar won't be the same. Ick. I just realized I take VO's for granted. (They did okay finding someone to replace Mordin in ME 3, but it still didn't have the same zest to it.)

So with that in mind...
-Sam Neil for...anything.
-Willem Defoe as a prominent Tevinter Magister. (He could use the work.)
-John Noble - (plays Walter Bishop on Fringe)
-Ian McShane (Al Swearengen and Blackbeard? Yes, please.)
--Tony Todd. (The guy who played Candy Man. That's a voice.)
And while we're on a horror kick...Robert Englund? There be demons in this game. And most of the demons' voice work so far as been kind of...bland.
I imagine most will be British or Canadian actors. Maybe the guy who played Baltar in BS:G. James Callis, I think is his name? or Jamie Bamber. Bioware seems to love to hire people from that show.
I forgert his name, but I love the guy who does Logain's voice. (Simon Templeton?) I wish they could use him again, but it'd be weird, unless he has more range and ability to change his entire voice. Then again, isn't that what most great voice actors are known for?
Then again, I keep forgetting we're in Orlais. A lot of French Canadian actors are really happy right now.
