I'd be content to let Bioware choose. If there's one thing they always do well it's the VO's.

Personally I agree with you completly. Bioware almost always makes amazing choices with their voice actors.

However this is a wish list. So there is no harm in going completly crazy throwing dream suggestions here.

I am tired of Jennifer Hale though. This is the best voice acting I've ever heard.

A lot of good names have been dropped. Here's a wishlist of my own:
  • Kirsten Potter -- she was Inquisitor Adrastia in Warhammer DoW II: Retribution
  • Fred Tatasciore -- I don't think I need to explain who he is. Just more of him, please?
  • Graham McTavish -- voice of Arl Eamon, would love to see him back
  • Jason Spisak
  • Courtenay Taylor
  • Keith Szarabajka -- because I will never tire of this man's voice
  • Roger R. Cross
  • Kath Soucie -- she was Marjolaine
  • Karen Strassman
  • Valerie Karsenti
  • Cree Summer
  • Michael Gough
OK, that's enough!

I like Liam Neesons voice, I think he would be perfect for a veteran fighter.

I know neither Alan Rickman nor Benedict Cumberbatch has ever worked as a voice actor, but if there was even the tiniest 0.1% chance of persuading them...

Maker, those voices on a companion... *wanders off starry-eyed*

Tim Curry. I don't care that Arl Howe's dead, Tim Curry's baws-ness alone should be enough for him to be able to respawn.

Bioware has given roles to some trully great actors like Martin Sheen so hoping for the voices of Hugo Weaving or Kenneth Branagh is not totaly out of the page...

I guess they would be quite, quite expensive but both actors have simply outstanding skills.

For some reason I cannot help but picturing Antonio Banderas forcing his accent from Murcia as a very interesting Antivan... ;)

If at all possible, have Seth Green being the voice of a party member. I know he was a major character in another Bioware game, but I don't think he's been in the Dragon Age series yet.

I kinda see him as the cliche rogue type that thinks he's the best thing in the world, but everyone else seems to see him as a fool. Hey, every party needs someone to bring the laughs.

I'd like to see J. Micheal Tatum do some voice acting! I'd have to admit I was in awe since the movie. ;D

I'd like to see either Stephen Fry as an evil npc (since he normally only plays good guys), since he's a national treasure...and I loved John Cleese his extremely exaggerated role as an Englishman, a role Stephen can fill perfectly.

Another name on my list is Tom Waits. You should never publish a game that doesn't include a whiskey-destroyed voice like his. Maybe a cameo as a demon? He played the devil before in some movies, IIRC.

Fry is amazing as Reaver. The best part about those games.

I would love to see Nathan Fillion in DA. Philip Glennister, David Tennant, Simon Pegg and Bruce Campbell would be fun to hear as well. For female characters I'd love to hear Keeley Hawes, Catherine Tate and Karen Gillian.Maybe Audrey Tautou c:

I liked him as James, the father of the Vault 101 PC in Fallout 3.

Agree with David Tennant. Alan Rickman and Benedict Cumberbatch who have already been mentioned would also be great (love Sherlock). Mr Rickman would be better in a humorous/sarcastic kind of role (he does it so well).

Philip Glennister has a nice voice but I love him too much as Gene Hunt!:)

Can a game even be made these days without Steve Blum or Yuri Lowenthal?

I'd also find it awesome if there was a bar called the Normandy or the Citadel or whatever and then you have the voices from the squadmates in Mass Effect. Having a farmer couple as both Commander shepards at one table with Kaiden, Ashley, Miranda, etc. Another table is some elves with Tali, Thane and Liara. Some dwarves are in a corner and its Wrex, Grunt, Garrus, Zaeed, Javik. Then maybe have a random tranquil that sounds like Legion.

I'm sure they'll pick a great cast. My problem is that they:

1, use the same actors too many times. New voices please

and

2, have the same actor voice too many characters. This was a huge annoyance for me in DA2.
