Qunari and Tevinter are too extremist for me, but if have to choose i prefer Qunari so far !

Not when their beliefs involve slaughtering non-converts, or murdering/lobotomizing people who wish to leave the fold. The Qunari do not have a right to those beliefs, nobody does.

You are bringing up modern societies in an attempt to deprive from the Qunari. The problem is, they are modern, the Qunari are not.

There's no excuse for behaving badly in any time period, or any fictional time period.

I'm well aware that modern governments are also behaving badly, and I'm opposed to that. I make my opposition known, but I can't effect significant change.

After they witnessed the powers of the Andrastian mages, they adapted and changed their stance on their own Saarebas, letting their Saarebas improve to become even more formidable mages.

You cannot expect a medieval society to hold modern values.

Well I do. I look back on the barbarism of past civilizations and I say "That was wrong, and should never have happened". There is no reason that past societies couldn't have had the same values as we have now. They chose to be douchebags, and they deserve to be judged for it.

The Christians, the Muslims, the Buddhist, the Hindus, ALL of them (except the Jews actually) all tried to forcefully convert their neighbors. You can't expect anything else from the Qunari.

I expect better from everybody. I do not give a free pass to any of the religions you've mentioned, no matter what time period they were acting in, and I don't give a free pass to the Qunari.

Those religious groups behaved deplorably in the past, and if they continued to behave that way today, you can damn well bet that I would be stockpiling weapons for when they came to call.
