I found the easy way to Jack's loyalty. Recruit her and do her loyalty mission quick. Right after her loyalty mission she will hop right in the sack with you, but only once.

Then when the fight with Miranda comes, I was at half paragon and it gave me the dialogue option to keep peace with both. The game played a little cool, the engineers were dead quiet,  then no seemed to notice. Romanced Miranda and nothing was said. Even got Kelly to feed my fish. Had Jack escort the survivors at the suicide mission. Have Miranda on my private invite intercom.

First time through I lost Jack at the suicide mission. Second time through I was careful to be nearly full paragon at the fight with Miranda. Lost Jack's loyalty but got it back immediately with the next chat, lip service dialogue.

Oh, and if you do not do Tali's loyalty mission with Legion as wingman, you are doing it wrong. It was very insightful to see the Quarians freak out over Legion's presence then disclose their intimate geth war plans as he stood there. It was a riot. 

Edit to add: playing engineer with group dominate and area AI hacking. Saved Morinth in an earlier game. Lots of fun with group dominate.

Seems over complex. Keeping Jack loyal really isn't all that hard and doesn't need you to take the renegade option where you have a quick root with her down below the engine room. Not an option for Femshep anyway.
