Alright when your making female characters make them look more like saskia (from the witcher 2) then jack from ME2 by that I mean don't make them go into battle half naked a little suggestive is fine but it gets ridiculous after a point. I am a guy and I still think it is stupid to make them so edgy. Issabela from DA2 should be as far as you go in matters of how they are dressed. Does anyone agree with me

Edit the past dragon age games have done well with this so I want them to keep it that way.

None of the female DA2 characters went into battle half-naked. Isabela was dressed pretty conservatively compared to many other females in different games.

I'm about to agree on a statement on feminism, derived from Witcher2, the single most sexist piece of media I've ever experienced, period.
I believe someone, somewhere just divided by zero.

Okay bad example but I meant how she was dressed.

I agree but I meant don't make them like this and your right DAO and DA2 aren't bad

Isabella, worse than any female from Witcher 2.

I would prefer something like.

Didn't they do just what you're asking for with Aveline, Bethany, and Merrill?

I hated Saskia's outfit.

I'm lead to believe you have never played the Witcher 2 or have little to no experience with any kind of media.

Yeah I should have clarified that they should keep it up although Aveline was too much

How exactly was Aveline "too much"?

She was Captain of the Guard and as such wore a repectable fully armoured uniform, just like the rest of the guards.

I do not agree with you, no.

There should be no limits on what a character of any gender should be able to wear, IF it fits the character.

Probably took the game at face value. Some of the most powerful people in the game are women including Saskia who is trying to create a country for all races to live equally. Sure, the armor is a bit revealing but I don't see how that would make it sexist.

^ This. ^

Fyi this is the original concept art for her but being a kickstarter game the fans were able to tell Obsidian they wanted to change the armor to something better.

This was the original picture. I hate the boob armor.

Saskia had a horrible character design.

Hur dur let's have a warrior wear heavy armor, but have half her breast showing. Just no. It was stupid.

Godwood I meant Aveline was too much because it seemed they tried to make her a man and it is hard to explain it felt artificial I don't know

 Half her chest was fricken showing for crying outloud, even the strap was loose. Saskia is not a mage, or something who uses sneaking, she is a warrior, like Aveline. At least Aveline wore proper armor, Saskia's armor was a joke.

Pretty much.

ME2 had some funny clothing choices for the female characters (and Jacob. He goes into battle apparently in spandex). But really the guys did a lot better in ME3. Liara and Ashley both have more of a clothed look which you can totally ignore and change their skin to be armor based. Which I always do. I don't think a lab coat or a skirt should be worn when you're going into battle against heavily armored Cerberus troops or skyscraper tall sapient warships.

Call me old fashioned.

And so I always keep them armored up. Sure EDI's weird catsuit camel-toe is surely weird. But a sexualized robot is weird anyway.

This leads me to believe that until I see designs showing otherwise that BioWare will have their women dressed for combat and not 14 year old boys. In fact the leaked concept art all had armored and fully clothed people in it.

I've had the misfortune of playing through it actually (well, through both path'). There's just different levels of sexism -  I'm so desentized to the skimpy outfits that I hardly care at this point, as much as a change for the better would be nice. There's also the Christopher Nolan syndrome, where writers couldn't create a decent female character if their life depended on it. Then there's the kind that the witcher did - you know, utter hatred and contempt and all that, but I believe that's sort of leading the thread astray.
