Awesome game. Must have played through that 5 times.
Old school game I like to see a sequal to is Metal Marines en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_Marines
Another good game that deserves a sequal is Metal Fatigue en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_Fatigue_(video_game)

Silent Hunter series.
Admittedly it is bit silly to bring them up in thread calling for dequels, when you consider last SH released was Silent Hunter V, no less. So they've gotten their share of sequels! Thanks to niche genre and actions of Ubisoft they are very much forgotten though. Recent memory(last 10 yrs) remembers three Silent Hunter games that have all been the case of history repeating itself;
Ubisoft releases very promising game engine with crazy potential and unfinished, utterlfy dysfunctional game behind it. Awesome modding community picks the game up, recognizes the potential and turns this dysfunctional piece of trash into awesome, highly unique simulation about Submarine warfare.
For ONCE I'd like to see Silent Hunter where Ubi has done its job properly and releases a finished game. Highly realistic submarine warware offers pretty healthy amount of sensations you just don't find in any other video game or genre. These games play entirely different even when you compare them to realistic flight sims ot such. In perfect world Ubisoft would redirect any and all sales profits to modding community who ultimately are responsible for turning promising game engine into a game. For Free. After buying the game from Ubisoft. Ain't right yo. Butb yeah give me Silent Hunter VI that is somewhat finished and in playable condition the day I buy it.
I too loved Republic Commando. Very odd it didn't sell that well.

This game deserves a sequel and having it be a fully-fledged retail product..

ActRaiser
ActRaiser did have a sequel, but that was over a decade ago. What I would like to see though are HD remakes/ports of the Soul Blazer trilogy. Those being Soul Blazer, Illusion of Time/Gaia and Terranigma. Especially IoT and Terra. Those were two of my most played games from my childhood. Nintendo could have released these on Virtual Console but they never did. Square Enix did put ActRaiser on there though, which is a Quintet game so there is no reason why they shouldn't have added those.

A decent sequel to DA:O would be nice. I'll just pretend the pile of sh*t that was DA 2 didn't happen.

If those games play like the first ActRaiser I support remakes/ports of them.
I really just want to play a game were a play a god, build a world and then adventure in it.

They aren't really city builder/action adventure like ActRaiser per se, but rather adventure RPG's. There is some city development you can do via side quests in Terranigma though, but that's pretty far into the game. All the games in the trilogy follow the same thmes, ActRaiser too, to an extnet so you may like them. Check them out on YouTube or something, particularly Terra. I hear Soul Blazer is fairly mediocre though.
