if i upgrade my comp ...what happens to the downloadable content i have already put promo codes in for please?

Just backup your save files and any User made content files you've downloaded. When you reinstall you'll just have to re-download the DLC content but as long as you're using the same User account everything should be fine.

what happens if you uninstall the game by mistake?

and you can see the downloable content and it enabled is it there or not?
