In my 2nd playthrough, I stayed true to Liara from start to finish.  On my next playthrough, the plan is to have the maximum number of partners possible.  I'm pretty sure these are all possible in one playthrough, though correct me if I'm wrong.  (I'm on PS3, so I haven't played ME1, only done the comic.  I'll do this playthrough after ME1 comes out on PSN)

ME1:
- Sha'ira the Consort
- choose Ashley over Liara

ME2:
- Casual sex with Jack on lower deck
- Pursue Miranda prior to Suicide Mission
- After mission, break up with her and hook up with Tali (unless this has been patched; it was an option my 1st playthrough)
- Then break up with Tali and invite Kelly Chambers up to the captain's chambers
(I'll also pursue Samara up until she gives the "if only I were a few hundred years younger" speech, but that doesn't really count)

ME3:
- Casual sex with Diana Allers, then kick her off the ship
- Lock in with Liara
(I also plan to either shoot Ashley on the Citadel or tell her to take a hike when she asks to rejoin the crew)

So, that would make 8 actual partners...did I miss any other possibilities?  Do you see an error in my plan (other than the obvious moral/ethical ones)?

Damn...it censored my title. Starts with a "w" and rhymes with "more"

Edit: went with an alternate title

You could make it have a shocking twist by romancing cortez.

You've already lost by romancing Allers.

Critical.
Mission.
Failure.

Huh...good suggestion.  Definitely would be a shocking twist.  Didn't think of that.  Might explain the jumping from partner to partner...

I do genuinely like Liara, though, which is why I put her last.  I could have put her in ME1 and picked Ashley last, but she kinda annoys me.

If by "romance" you mean banging her and then immediately going down to Engineering to tell her to get the hell off my ship, then...yeah.  It's really not about "romance" at all...it's about this particular Shep bein' a playa (or a complete bastard, depending on your viewpoint).

Your comment did make me laugh, though, so thanks for that!

You've intrigued me there, actually.
If you bang her then kick her off the ship, does she throw a tantrum? Like, "I thought we had something Shepard!"
I'm not saying breaking women's hearts is a good thing, but in her case, I'll make an exception.

Don't know...never tried. That would be pretty awesome. Either way, I'm pretty sure I won't miss 25 points to my war assets, so...see ya!

I'm also gonna punch the reporter, of course. And get a lap dance at Afterlife. Get drunk and dance with the Asari against the wall at Purgatory. If there were a way to work in Morinth without dying, or there was a way to cruise for chicks with Vega on the Citadel, I'd do that too. Unfortunately, my options are limited...

Hopefully they work Aria in as an option with the Omega DLC. 'Cause she's probably the perfect girl for this Shep.

After you're done hooking up with Liara, first thing you should do before ME3 ending would be sending your Shep for an STD check 'cause boy, even the highest EMS may not save him after so much fooling around

But to hep you out, you should have Liara as LI in ME1 so you can hook up with her in LOTSB while still hooking up with Jack/Miranda/Tali/Kelly/Samara. Then dump Liara in ME3 and go for Ash. This way, your HoShep will score even more sex in the trilogy

My Shepard had one LI.

This is why gamers have a bad reputation.

Sounds similar to a playthrough I did. Went like this: Ashley ME1 > Jack one night stand > Kelly dancing in cabin > flirted with Samara > nailed Miranda before suicide mission > tried to get Traynor but was subsequently **** blocked > went back to Ashley in ME3.

I'd humbly suggest that you take this a litle less seriously.  Perhaps you missed the first sentence where I mentioned that in my last playthrough I was true to Liara from start to finish?

All this would be is a way to have a significantly different gamplay experience than my first two.  It's not much different, really, from a thread I read a couple months ago by a guy who was doing a playthrough focused on having the lowest possible EMS on the final mission.  It forces you to make different decisions than you might normally be inclined to.  Different decisions = different gameplay experience = keeping it fresh.  It's really not worth getting worked up about.

Besides, I think we've all probably met someone in real life who was great at what they did but was totally disfunctional in their personal life.  That's this Shepard.  Great at killing stuff, horrible at having healthy relationships.

I've played a choir-boy MaleShep.  I've played a ruthless renegade FemShep (who was still loyal to one person, btw).  This is just something different from either of those.
