I was working on a drawing for a vanguard but it turned out kind of crappy so I’ll just post a description.

Human Vanguard

Uses teleports and acrobatics like the N7 Fury.
Heavy melee – Forms a biotic sphere around there fist then back hands the foe. Knocks back unprotected enemies.

This guy is a civilian so he’s just wearing a hoodie, camouflage trousers, some big military boots and something similar to the capacitor helmet.

A few other people have come up with some good bubble shield powers so I thought I’d have a crack at it.

Powers

Biotic Charge

Throw

Barrier Sphere
Rank 1: Barrier Sphere

Supercharges your barrier and forces it out into a sphere to protect yourself and allies. Weapons, powers and melee attacks can’t be used while active. Shields do not regenerate while active.
Recharge Speed: 5 sec
Shield Strength: 200%
Radius: 1.5 m

Rank 2: Recharge Speed
Increase recharge speed by 20%.
Recharge Speed: 4 sec

Rank 3: Shield Strength
Increase shield strength by 50%.
Shield Strength: 250%

Rank 4: Damage Reduction/Radius
Damage Reduction
Drop the sphere with barrier strength remaining to increase damage protection by 10% for 5 seconds.

Radius
Increase the sphere’s radius by 50%.
Radius: 2.25 m

Rank 5: Shield Strength/Burst
Shield Strength
Increase shield strength by 100%.
Shield Strength: 350%

Burst
Sphere detonates when dropped to cause 200 damage over 3 meters.

Rank 6: Cyclonic Barrier/Damage Returned
Cyclonic Barrier
Each shot fired at the sphere has a 10% chance of being deflected and causing no damage.

Damage Returned
Damages enemies that melee the sphere. 80% melee damage returned.

(Instead of activating the power, the player would hold down one of the power buttons to keep the bubble up, with the recharge only kicking in once the button is released. The Player can move with the bubble up but they move slower and can’t shoot, run, use other powers, use equipment or activate devises. The bubble would work off the players barrier so if the bubble is taken down, the players barriers would be depleted.)

(If an enemy is in the bubble when it’s activated they will be staggered backwards until they are pushed out. However, while the enemy is within the bubble they are immune to damage and the bubble gradually takes some damage. Hopefully this would discourage exploits of the bubble such as pushing an enemy into a corner.)

I'm glad we seem to be getting some special forces Turians (called it by the way) But I still think there should be a normal Turian Infiltrator.

Regular armor, and such, but perks to increase damage of sniper rifles.

Camoflage (thie invisible power, I can't believe I'm blanking on the name)
Marksman
Sticky Grenades

And also a note, I imagine a Turian special forces wielding a pair of short swords that don't have a tip, kind of like a rectangle of death. But I know they won't do that, and just use omni-blades instead...

While I'm on the subject, here's my idea of non-omni-blade melee weapons per race:

Human- Knives plain and simple, no swords.
Turians- Swords-without-tips as described above, or using their claws
Asari- Compact Tomahawks, and also Compound Bows like in Crysis 3
Salarians- Hidden blades that are worked into those gauntlet things they were
Batarians- Gauntlets just like their omni-tool weapon, but real metal. That, or having several knives strapped to their armor, or using unarmed tactics to impale enemies onto their blade-armor.
Quarians- Knives, and probably tasers attached to their armor
Drell- Drell Kung-Fu, and maybe baton's
Krogan- Pure Rage, except maybe with an armored, bladed or horned helmet, and probably some blunt weapons like a hammer or mace.
Vorcha- Shredder-Like claws, or hidden blades. Or just pure mauling.

Multiplayer class ideas based on Levitahn DLC

*Spoiler-You have been warned*

Leviathan Thrall (May change race if a better suggestion comes up)

A modified reaper Marauder put to use for the Leviathans against the Reapers

love it. Probably the best idea for a character with dominate. Might be a bit destracting hearing Leviathans booming voise saying "RELOADING!!"

Thanks had this guy and the L.E.T. in my mind for a while would love to see the 2 classes in multiplayer and who knows bioware does look at these forums theres always the remotest chance.

LOL that would be funny and true but I think it would be something more refined souding like "Rearming" or "Ammo Replenishment in progress" in the lower toned voice he uses when he has enthralled a person.

Is everyone just posting their own characters? Might as well post mine to. Anyone who hangs out by the MP discussion forum probably seen these already, as these are pretty old. Though, since the announcement of the Retaliation DLC, some of my ideas are redundant, as they came weeks prior.

I love the weapon designs and incorporating all of the gangs would be a good idea for the multiplayer. I’m surprised they haven’t done it already.

Right, last character from me. I've sketched out a few designs but they all felt a bit generic so I'll just put up the power ideas.

Female Human Solider

Powers

Sticky Grenade

Acceleration
Rank 1: Acceleration

Energy is redirected from shields to power movement enhancing servos. Increases movement speed. Increases melee damage. Decreases max shields by 30% while active.
Recharge Speed: 3 sec
Movement Speed Bonus: 10%
Melee Damage Bonus: 15%
Shield Strength: -30%

Rank 2: Movement Speed
Increase movement speed by 5%
Movement Speed Bonus: 15%

Rank 3: Melee Damage Bonus
Increase melee damage bonus by 10%.
Melee Damage Bonus: 25%

Rank 4: Shield Penalty/Movement Speed
Shield Penalty
Reduce shield penalty by 20%.
Shield Strength: -10%

Movement Speed
Increase movement speed by 10%
Movement Speed Bonus: 25%

Rank 5: Melee Damage/Charge
Melee Damage Bonus
Increase melee damage bonus by 20%.
Melee Damage Bonus: 45%

Charge
Sprinting into an enemy will cause 150 damage and throw unprotected foes back.
Force: 200N

Rank 6: Armour Damage/Shield Damage
Armour Damage
Upgrade your omni-blade into a mono-molecular razor that can puncture armour. Increase heavy  melee damage to armour by 100%.

Shield Damage
Add an electrical charge to your omni-blades to overload shields. Increase light melee damage to shields by 100%.

(once active, the light melee attack changes into very fast swipes with onmi-blades. If the armour damage evolution is chosen, a new larger onmi-blade is added during the heavy melee animation.)

(If the Charge evolution is chosen, the sprinting animation is changed so that the solider holds one of their arms up in front of them with the omni-blade deployed.)

Shield Surge
Rank 1: Shield Surge
Proximity detection systems pulse shields to knock back nearby enemies and stop incoming projectiles. Each pulse consumes 25% of shields.
Recharge Speed: 3 sec
Surge Recharge Speed: 4 sec
Radius: 1.5 m

Rank 2: Surge Recharge
Reduce re-fire time by 10%
Surge Recharge Speed: 3.6 sec[/b]

Rank 3: Efficiency
Reduce the amount of shields drained by 5%

Rank 4: Max Shields/Efficiency
Max Shield
Increase max shields by 20%.

Efficiency
Reduce the amount of shields drained by 10%

Rank 5: Neural Shock/Tag
Neural Shock
Incapacitate weaker organic enemies for a short duration.

Tag
Reveal cloaked enemies and prevent them from re-cloaking.

Rank 6: Shield Recharge/Multi capacitor
Shield Recharge
Increase shield recharge speed by 15%.

Multi capacitor
Allow the pulse to fire twice before recharging.

(Rockets, pulse cannon shots, Ravager cannon shots and a Banshee’s reave attack cause the pulse to fire and detonate them before they make contact, protecting the solider from all damage. Enemies that come in too close are staggered by the pulse.)

(The surge is basically a bubble that only becomes visible when hit.)

It’s an interesting idea but I still really like the Marauder concept.

Spectre Sqaud: Vangaurd

Asari

Health 500/500 Barrier 650/650

__________________________________________________________________________________________

Desription: the Spectre vangaurds operate on the same basis as thier normal vangaurd cousins, a full frontal close combat high risk, high reward plan. But they use powers that are on a completly diffrent level to incorparate this stratgey, using intensive biotic powers to attack, maul, and impair. While other vangaurds may use some kind of far range power like biotic slash or shockwave, the spectre focuses completly on close range, leaving them vurnarble at most other ranges. However they do bring massive assault power at this one range they excel in, impairing enemies, destroying ranks, and leaving what she does not destroy crippled upon retrating.

___________________________________________________________________________________________

Powers:

Gravity well: the spectre version of charge, mkae a intensive mass efect feild around your target, making them far more dense and pulling them twoard the ground, then make a biotic barrier around yourself. But instead on this being a high-powered dense feild, it is a mass lowering field, you make yourself so light while making your enemy so dense that gravity actually pulls you twoards him. Because it is a mass lowering field, the charge will not restore your barrier ar much, however it does cause a small biotic explosion on impact with the dense mass effect field. And all enemies within a vicinity are slowed down for 15 seconds as the lingering field causes gravity to drag them down. Finally this actually does far more damage to your target than other charges, the gravity they are affected with is so heavy it could actually crumple metal, it fries sheilds, crushes armor, and devastates biotic barriers.

Summary: the gravity well is your version of charge, however it's not as much of a life-saver as charge is since it doesnt restore as much barrier, making the high-risk high-reward use a little bit dangoures. however the slowed movment speed of enemies is usally enough to let you get out of situations easily, and the added damage makes it more of a viable combat option and could finish of weakened nearby enemies or kill the direct target of your charge.

Rank 1: target damage taken: 300 bitoic explosion damage 150 biotic explosion raduis 3 meters barrier restored 25% enemy slow 25% recharge speed 4 seconds

Rank 2: recharge speed decrease recharge time to 3 sec

Rank 3: damage increase charge damage to 400 increase BE damage to 200

Rank 4:
A. slow increase slow by 20%
B. Explosion increase BE raduis by 2 meters

Rank 5:
A. Armor incase yourself in the leftover of your biotic field after your charge, reducing damage taken by 15% for 4 seconds
B.Lift explode your mass lowering field upon hitting your target, lifting any unarmored enemies for 3 seconds

Rank 6:
A. Barrier increase barrier recharge by 50%
B. Stasis your mass increasing field is so intense it will stop some enemies in their place stasis up to 3 enemies withing a 1.5 meter raduis for 3 seconds
________________________________________________________________________________________

Biotic Champion Mode: use intensive biotic focus to increase you combative capabilities, lowering your mass to increase speed, increasing your fist's density to cause greater melee damage, but taking away from much of the focus needed to maintain your barrier

Summary: Biotic Champion mode is the vangaurd/biotic version of hunter mode, it greatly increases any combat capability, but also halves your barrier. This mode is more limited than hunter mode, but has more unique and useful capabilities. such as increasing foot speed, biotic damage, melee damage etc.

Rank 1: increase foot speed by 10% increase melee damage by 15% increase biotic damage by 8% increase power regen rate by 15%

Rank 2: speed increase foot speed by 5%

Rank 3: biotic damage increase biotic damage boost by 2%

Rank 4:
A. power regen increase power regen rate by 5%
B. melee damage increase melee damage by 7%

Rank 5:
A. Frenzy for every enemy you kill gain a 5% bonus to melee damage, can stack up to 4 times and lasts 30 seconds each kill
B. Focus for every enemy you kill gain a 5% bonus to power recharge speed can stack up to 4 times and lasts 30 seconds each kill

Rank 6:
A. Conditioning barrier reduction is downsized to -30%
B. Reflex your reflex's are heightend in Biotic champion mode to extremes, give a 20% chance to reflect all damage done when a blow that would destroy barriers is taken
________________________________________________________________________________________

Will also have dark channel
Spectre training (passive)
Spectre condtioning (fitness)

Human Warden Adept

Image IPB

The special thing about this guy is that his barrier is constantly a large sphere. Just like normal barriers it is invisible until hit with weapons fire. Allies that are within the sphere are immune to damage but if an enemy shoots at them while in there, the Warden Adept would take the damage.

Similar to the Annihilation Field power, enemies that walk into the sphere are set up for a biotic explosion. They don’t take any damage from entering the sphere and as soon as they leave they are no longer set up for the explosion.

All of these effects stop while barriers are down.

Powers

Nova

Singularity

Barrier Surge
(This ability would also make the barrier visible, probably similar in appearance to the Volus heavy melee ability.)
Rank 1: Barrier Surge
Restore barrier strength over time and prevent staggering. The power will persist for a max duration and can be cancelled early for a faster recharge.
Recharge Speed: 8 sec
Barriers per second: 120
Duration: 6 sec

Rank 2: Recharge Speed
Increase recharge speed by 25%
Recharge Speed: 6 sec

Rank 3: Barrier
Increase Barriers restored by 25%
Barriers per second: 155

Rank 4: Max Barrier/Recharge Speed
Max Barrier
Increase max Barrier by 30%.

Recharge Speed
Increase recharge speed by 30%
Recharge Speed: 4.2 sec

Rank 5: Power Synergy/Duration
Power Synergy
Increase power damage and force by 100% for 3 seconds after Barrier Surge ends.

Duration
Increase duration by 50%
Duration: 9 sec

Rank 6: Damage Reduction/Barrier
Damage Reduction
Increase damage protection by 30%

Barrier

Increase Barriers restored by 35%
Barriers per second: 197

Similar to the N7 Paladin with Shield Mastery, instead of having the Fitness power they would have this instead.

Rank 1: Sphere Mastery
Boost health, shields/barriers, melee damage and durability. Turn your barrier into a protective sphere. While barrier is up, allies within the sphere are immune to damage and enemies are set up for a biotic explosion.
Health & shield bonus: 15%
Melee damage bonus: 15%
Sphere radius: 1 meter

Rank 2: Durability
Increase health and barriers bonus by 10%. Increase sphere radius by 25%
Health & shield bonus: 25%
Melee damage bonus: 15%
Sphere radius: 1.25 meters

Rank 3: Melee Damage
Increase melee damage bonus by 20%
Health & shield bonus: 25%
Melee damage bonus: 35%
Sphere radius: 1.25 meters

Rank 4: Melee Damage/Durability
Melee damage
Increase melee damage bonus by 30%
Melee damage bonus: 65%

Durability
Increase health and barriers bonus by 15%. Increase sphere radius by 50%
Health & shield bonus: 40%
Sphere radius: 1.75 meters

Rank 5: Radius/Shield-Recharge
Radius
Increase sphere radius by 75%
Sphere radius: 2.5 meters

Shield-Recharge
Decrease shield recharge delay by 15%

Rank 6: Fitness Expert/Primed
Fitness expert
Increase health and barriers bonus by 25%. Health & shield bonus: 65%

Primed
Enemies that enter the sphere are set up for a biotic explosion. The effect lasts for 6 seconds after they have the sphere.

Armour Strength: 3000
Movement Speed: -30%
Melee Damage: -30%
recharge speed: 20 sec

Rank 2: Recharge Time
Increase recharge speed by 25%
recharge speed: 15 sec

Auto Repair
Armour regains 50 strength per second while inactive.

Stabilisers
increase weapon stability by 30%

Rank 6: heavy materials/advanced materials
Heavy Materials
Prevents attacks that would otherwise instantly kill. Active armour prevents running.

Advanced Materials
Increase armour strength by 50%
increase movement speed by 10%
Movement Speed: -10%
Armour Strength: 6300 (5250)

This power adds a yellow bar of armour between your shields and your health.
