Why is that child holding a gun?
That was my first thought. Crappy manga, anime, or whatever.
Sigh. I know right?
This is Commander Shepard, for chrissakes.
Do not make her look like some six year old valley girl. She's THE Shepard. Shepherd of the galaxy.
This is because people who buy dolls and statues prefer them to be cute rather than badass, this not aimed at people like you.

Er guys, this is a "bishoujo" statue.
Bishoujo basically means pretty and refers to young women below college/university age. Remember sailor moon? Official name was Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon.- PRETTY soldier sailor moon.
In japan, there's a market for people who want "cute/pretty" versions of characters (I've seen bishoujo statues of Battle Angel Alita (Gunnm) and Major Motoko Kusangi (Ghost in the Shell) - two characters I would never use the words "cute" for)
Completely irrelevant. It doesn't matter what the market is or what a niche group of people prefer them to be, there are niche markets for EVERYTHING. Literally. Some that should flat out not exist.
The fact remains that no matter how you choose to customize or headcanon Shepard, one of the constants that can not be changed regardless of player choice or action is that
Commander Shepard is biologically twenty-nine. (Possibly thirty by ME3, chronologically 31-32)
