Bioware sure likes their bishoujo statues. Between these, the alleged movie, and all the space ninjas, I wonder how long it'll be before the ME franchise becomes full blooded anime. At least her boobs aren't bigger than her head on this one.

For me they jumped the shark by choosing the redhead default femshep they did, instead of sticking to the default we already had. I never used it myself, but it's definitely better than the Jane "Horseface" Shepard they decided to introduce on the last installment of the trilogy for some reason.

This is also QFT. Seriously, why'd they choose the default? Femshep in ME1 and 2 was so much more badass.

It was bad enough they made her look ... alright, let's not sugarcoat here. They straightup made her ugly. But her body? She's a goddamn SOLDIER, and that's a title she damn well earned. She's not some insecure high school teenager with anorexia. WTF Bioware? Why the twigs? And the way she runs/walks? ????

Ehh, that doesn't bug me so much. Spruced up default model to match that the male version always had one. This is the game series where you just get off Eden Prime and are treated to a boobshot of Matriarch Benezia, so...yeah. *shrug*

Personally, I quite like it. I don't have a single statue of figure of anything, but I'm kinda tempted to get the redhead one

Doesn't appeal to me, but there's a market in japan for such figures (and seeing a bishoujo Colonel Matoko Kusangi tops this easily in the "HUH, that is so not how I envision the character" category)

It doesn't matter. Frankly, I don't care. Why don't they design a female shepard plushie? Why not a statue of either Shepard carved in ivory? Why not offer Shepard brand cookies? Why the anime-ified representation of a character that is, in essence, the complete oposite of that?

I know damn well what is. It doesn't change the fact that they're tearing away her hard earned dignity with crowbar by portraying her as a wispy, doe eyed animu damsel in the wind.

Of course there's a market for it. There's a market for futa femShep railing Mordin in the medbay while Dr. Chakwas watches. It doesn't mean they should start development on a new DLC titled "Experiments in Science" rated M for mature.

Jeeze, let Shep have her dignity. This is some terrible "cashing in" here.
