I need some help to decide whether to play my city elf rogue, or a mage! I've been wanting to play a city elf ever since I saw their origin path, but I wasn't overly impressed with the rogue gameplay from Dragon Age: Journeys. Now I know, this is just a flash representation, but I've always had a love for mages.
The City elf origin path seems very tradgic and emotional, I would love to have that of a character. The mage however seem to be more of a fun class to play. Decisions, decisions...
Could anyone possibly post their experiences with either the rogue, city elf, or mage, to help tip me in either direction?

Your city elf cannot be a mage. Mages must select the Mage origin.

I made both myself and am currently playing through as the Mage.
If I hadn't invested so many hours in the mage already, I'd probably go back and do the Rogue. I tend to want to control my main character more than the other characters and you definitely need to micromanage the Rogue more. If you let the AI control them they don't tend to position themselves behind enemies for their backstab bonus.
They also have a lot of skills to actively use during battle so it'll be a lot more fun than the flash game, I assure you.
