I have a laptop with both intel and nvidia graphic cards. However unlike all of my other games dragon age 2 for some reason fails to use it and instead tries to use intel chipset which causes it to freeze at start up. Even in nvidia 3d settings if i try to force aplication to use a proper video card it still doesn't. I am at my wit's end. Tried to update to beta drivers, roll back to older ones, tweaking various settings in 3d settings, nothing helps.  Dragon age 2 is the only game that does. Witcher 2, Crysis 1 and 2, guild wars 2, diablo 3, Darksiders 2 and even dragon age:origins (i think it is enough i tested with about dozen games all worked exept da 2). Computer specs:
16gb ddr 3 RAM
Procesor intel core i7
nvidia geforce 540m 3Gb
windows 7 64 bit

It's not the game's fault. It's your PC's fault, but there have been a ton of the same problem (almost all purely Geforces), and I don't think it's ever been solved. There is no official support for any kind of Laptop / Notebook / All in One Computer.
