But the question is what would make a good Suicide Mission for DA3?

And Dragon Age:Origins can literally be a suicide mission. I would rather have a goal based a the story than a story based around a goal. What you're asking for sounds like the latter.

So missions with a low chance of survival will probably be quite frequent in DA3. Missions where the protagonist is required to kill themselves, probably not.

Suicide mission was great for ME2..... come ME3, it was a pain in the ass for the writers and it really showed in the game. So no, I don't think Bioware would be able to handle it properly for sequels.
I don't think it would be all that hard to implement...people need to wake up from this silly delusion that your in game choices are what matter in regards to Dragon Age canon.
The writers are gonna do what they want, as well they should, regardless of how many forum whiners cry about their emotional needs not being met.
there is no main character in Dragon age, no one story we follow save for PERHAPS Flemeth's background schemes...and a few dead npc's has no effect on that.

If you mean a suicide mission as in probably won't survive then no. I am tired of grimdark craptastic endings made sad for no reason other than to **** the player.

Dragon Age games are not direct sequels like Mass Effect, because of this, they can do a lot of wild things and yet only have to take the big lines into account in sequels.

There's gotta be something nasty down there.
And nasty means fun. Big things to kill!

At least Dragon Age 3 doesn't have to worry about the consequences as much as the ME series.

only SM i can think of at this time would be trying to save the queen/king of Oalise(or whatever its called) who has changed their mind and will back out, while your military is trying to kill them

So yes it's okay to me to use the theme of sacrifice and suicidal quests, but no to the method and manner was done in ME2.

I also liked to be able to choose assignments for characters that weren't in my squad and having to choose right. Maybe send a rouge to climb a wall of a prison or something while a tank is sent to distract the guards so that the protagonist and his/her team can sneak in. I would love to see more of this use of the characters in DA3:I.

If you mean a mission where you delegate squad leaders and teams based on the NPC's who are members of your crew then I would love that. Their success based on how you leveled them and thier skills, the relationship you have formed with them and the history you have with them over the course of the game. That would be really cool
.
I agree with this. I liked picking who would be good at this or that, and then it having an outcome of your mission.
