So while I haven’t read everything on the forums regarding
DA3 I have notice that there seems to be a general perception that we will be
playing as an inquisitor.   I cannot
recall reading anything from Bioware itself as being confirmed. Has it?

If not I think it is more likely that we will be playing
outside the inquisition and maybe even opposed to it. This I believe would be
our best bet to get an origins like beginning.

An inquisition would be looking at everyone and likely to
butt in on every character type shown us so far whether you’re are human,
circle/apostate mage, city elf, surface dwarf, or tal-vashoth.  As all of these types can be found in a human
settlement it would make sense story wise for the developers to have one voice
actor for all DA3 origins. This is what I am hoping anyway

This also doesn’t force the player to side with chantry
beliefs if he or she does not want to, and since the Chantry governance is
opposed to the freedom of mages it would make more sense for a player who
chooses a mage class.  It also makes
greater sense for you to gather a range of people in your party from grey
wardens to a seeker (fallen from chantry’s grace?) rather than if you were an
inquisitor.

I am hopeful that the game won't be as bad as I imagine, still i'll be very slow to actually think positive about it until we know more of it, what will make me positive about the game?

1)Not forced to be an Inquisitor but to join them or destroy them as a player choice.
2) to be able to play as an elf.
3)Learn more about hawke and I really don't want them to "ART" the info by killing the character, meh that will probably really kill my interest in da3 all together.

The leaked survey says we'll be taking up the mantle of an Inquisitor but doesn't say what an Inquisitor is. Apparently you'll be able to be a Mage, Rogue or Warrior in it. I hope it all will make sense when it is released.
