I agree with OP 100%! Giving the character conversation choices is what pulls you in and makes you feel like an active participant. I know the impact of having a voiced PA and how it changes the dynamic of convo choices has been debated before, so I won't rehash that here, but I will say that one bonus to having a voiced PA: Hawke got to be included in party banter. I LOVE BioWare party banter, it's always awesome!

Absolutely, extend that to cutscenes and its a winner.
