for those who would prefer the silent warden, i doubt that can ever be done in DA again. in DA2 we had Hawke. with the choice of one race and out of two genders. if we cant be silent any more then i think we should at least be allowed to have different voice options and different last names. for example. snow, edwards, cousland, poopypants. maybe not that last one:huh: but i think many last name choices is a must have for this game. same with different voices. the male voice did not suit my Hawke at all:sick:

who agrees:D

"Drae?"
I agree that the voice killed my role playing experience, and we're probably gonna have a set last name, even if it's never mentioned. That's the one thing we haven't been able to pick in both DA:O and DA2.
Personally, I still wish for a silent protagonist and different playable races. It'll cost more money to record different voices per gender and race.

lol Drae!
i guess. but i would hate having another DA with a set last name. i mean having different voices would be a lot harder then the other people saying a few different names

It would be nice, but the logistical problem of having to record literally thousands of lines of dialogue with more than one actor per gender? Not likely. As in, I would be less surprised to find out that DA3 is actually a first-person shooter set in the ancient times.

yeah the different voice thing may be a bit hard but they can do different last names!

You know, different voices and different last names take lots of voice acting and resources and makes the game larger, so 360 players might have limitations or something.
For different voices, maybe they could add voice sliders that let you adjust the original voice so that it is a bit more to your liking.
But for different last names I'm pretty sure it's gonna be one.

there is nothing wrong with just a set male and female voice it makes the game more cost effective and as long as the voice work is well done like it was for hawke and shepard then it's not the end of the world

I think that the plot and the game mechanics are more important this is not vital
