Hey, I turned 50 a few months ago and look what I'm doing. sitting here playing games. Life is good and is only getting better. Your only as old as you feel and I do not feel my age, nor do i look my age. So I guess it all comes down to your state of mind. live life to the fullest and have one hell of a good time while your at it. Happy Birthday.

To the OP: Think on the bright side: in 27 years you will be able to ride a bus for free!:o
(like my father says: always think on the bright side, always)

almost half way to 60!

LOL, I turned 25 the same year my father turned 50, I asked him "How does it feel to be twice as old as me?"
Without missing a beat he said "How does it feel to be halfway there?"

Yeah... 28. You poor bastard. Same with the guy getting black balloons, etc. on 30. Be grateful somebody cared. 30 was just another day for me. So was 40. So was 44 two weeks ago. In fact the last time my birthday meant any kind of party was over 30 years ago. I haven't had a birthday party since before you were even an itch in your daddy's pants. How's that for perspective? And Dad? Hey, my dad was 50 the year I was born, never mind 25. Hell, he was dead before I was 25.

So happy birthday, eh?

I am actually surprised that so many people here are above 30.

Makes me feel very young, just when I thought I was getting older lol

To the OP: I suppose I could link you a couple of articles about growing old in grace and style, one of them written by my professor who has to be pushing 60 by now (and yet someone who in my mind's eye remains this wonderful, beautiful, vivacious, charming, absolutely ageless lady because of the way she carries herself and approaches the vagaries of life). Though considering your own age, that's probably premature to say the least. Long way to go before you get there, hombre. ;-) Anyhow, what do you plan to do for the next 40 years? Perhaps that you've hit an epiphany of sorts about how age and life works, now might be a good time as any to consider.

Indeed. I don't usually frequent many forums as I find them populated by angry kids. I don't mean to generalise as I have came across some very mature people in their early-mid teens and some very stupid "adults", but as a rule this community is mature and respectful and with it's fair share of those over the "average" gamer age.

As for the oldest.. I wouldn't know. There was a "how old are you" thread kicking about in the main DA forum a while back, I think it's knocked down a fair bit now though and there was a few people at 60+.

EDIT: Found the thread social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/9/index/353573/1

Happy Birthday, Trajan!
Hope you make it to 45 and still enjoy cool stuff like I do!
Life is too short. What's that "Captain" used to say? Seize the day?

(Search off- topic for my Chinese Zodiac thread and search for some answers there if you like! It is quite... revealing... for some people!

The meaning of your post is quite subjective, depending on how one looks at it. I myself understood something like this of it... "Your youth went on a Mephisto/Baal run in Hardcore Hell difficulty!" ... which is a sweet joke considering this is indeed a video game board!  But maybe the guy is really sad!

Ok. Just sign this document then. Obviously we need a demon or angel or sth to make it real, but I guess I can get one within short time.

Hereby do I, andybuiadh, officially declare to exchange my age with Tirigon. I agree to be 18 from now on until my next birthday, while he will be 26 until his next one. The exchange is irreversible. It DOES NOT require to sell my soul to any given devil, demon or other supernatural being.
Any treaties that require a certain age are untouched by this exchange, if they were signed before December 31, 2009.
The treaty is valid from the day I sign, but NOT before January 1., 2010.
I hereby invoke as ................ my witness. He/She/It will ensure that this treaty is fulfilled by both sides.

Insert name and sign to make sure it works.

.You hereby invoke as "Demyx_IX"

Edit: The coloring of text in this forum sucks like hell!
The treaty should be written in red (=blood) as it might not work otherwise, but this isnt possible here.....

This contract has been denied under the authority of the United States Marshals Service. Only we can decide who and how old you are. Anyone else trying to make the same claim is a terrorist.
