I saw this video yesterday and tried it. It was fun.

I'm nowhere near as good as the person in the vid, but it's not an inaccurate approximation of what even I was able to accomplish. Coupled with the Marksman buff, this might be my new go-to setup for a while,

Can you PC guys master the Hurricane's lift with this build to take advantage of mook headshots and still have a boss killer? Even with my substandard console aiming I can get a few headshots with it if I'm close enough, so maybe you can do it from across the map?

Also that Eagle video pedro posted was sick as well. Cool vids guys!

With a GI plus stability consumable 3, it's easy to get good distance on it. That's not counting the cover bonus. Headshots come down more to your own aim. I first ran into Jay when he was using a Drell Adept with a Hurricane with no stability bonuses. He pulled off headshots all the same. So yea.

Not really, the Hurricane isn't really accurate, it doesn't shoot where you want it to shoot so even if you can handle the recoil, or if you have a Stabilization Module and you're hosting, it won't do any good.

The Locust, however, is insanely accurate.

You can get about the same effect with a Geth Pulse Rifle to. Bit less damage, but the RoF makes up for it. Plus you can pack a Hurricane on the side for boss killing.

Got to ask though, what is the music used on the clip? Swear I've heard it before but can't remember where. . .

PS Tried it today... Oh god the horror. The sheer amount of SKILL needed to do it is beyond all that is humanly possible. I have failed and burned in a fire with my Locust.

The Locust has been pretty accurate since the start. It's just the damage that's been mediocre. Now it's very good. My human engineers use them pretty good, though that lvl 5 Incinerate burning damage bonus is probably helping them a lot.

You can make the hurricane very accurate with a scope. I have had a Hurricane VI for months now and only recently realized how good it can truely be.

I previously used the Hurricane all the time, just not with a scope-I can't wait for ULM to work, yeah patch.

Scopes can be awkward to use in close quarters. Besides, if you take the scope, that means you have to choose only one of those : Heatsink, Extended Mag, Extended Barrel, AP Mod. Tough choice.

And trust me, a Turian Soldier with a Hurricane can't keep up with one with a Locust., mainly because the Locust has unlimited range without a scope and reloads almost instantly.
