Is not the weapon, is the turian soldier class that makes the gun extraordinary, is the same with the N7 Eagle, Tempest, Geth SMG. Not forget that the player have a perfect aim to the head.

^ Not sure yet how exactly the 40% extra will work. It will probably just be 40% additive, which won't be that much help for most guns.

What I'm wondering is, if this new damage bonus will just be a weak point with a straight up 40% additive bonus (which would still be nice, especially for snipers) or is it a "headshot" as well but with a weaker value? Because if it is...that would actually be super awesome for a TSo with a Locust.

Well I was just doing some duos with him and I don't mean to brag, but I was just OWNING (so was he of course). I think I've finally got the Talon GI down pretty well. Took a little bit to get used to...

I use lots of them, but as has been pointed out several times in this thread, with the Locust it's mainly about the headshots rather than the consumables.
