Anora's speech just before the final battle.

We have a winner. Unless you have seen this final charge speech (usually done by Alistair, but if you keep Loghain alive Anora does it) outside Denerim, then you havent seen the worst dialogue lines in this game.

This speech is so cringeworthy and aweful. I feel embarrassed watching it. Loghain should of done it, not Anora.

Most voice sets are unpleasant. I prefer silence for all males and sultry for human female, so far.

Anything spoken by Erlina and Isolde.

Anora's battle speech; her VA has a pretty voice but not when she's yelling.

Ser Cauthrien's "betters" comment; ignorant much?

Any time I don't have an option in the initial dialog to tell a potential companion to go away and leave me alone (why make us wait until we get to camp?)

Leliana's face while singing; face mods don't help this because it's an animation (FaceFX) problem.

Dalish Storyteller, especially if you've been naughty. Gotta love the ******&moan story with the brainwashed child helping him out.

Contrivances are also no fun, especially those involving cutscenes and dialogs that don't let me act in-character.

Can't help comparing Anora's motivational speech with that of Kinrahe in Virmire.

Most annoying to me was Dog's barking in camp. I know a dev here said that they increased his idle animation to kick in a lot later than other characters, but it is ALWAYS going on when I'm getting really into whatever my party is saying to me in camp. The first time I was hearing the story about Aveline I was really engrossed into it until Dog's barking kept taking me out of it. The same thing happened when I was listening to the story of Zevran's last mission.

I'm also annoyed by the "We have to talk" dialogue from any romance option because it means I messed up and now I have to choose. I know Zevran's is "Ah you wish to talk? Good, I have a question for you."I think Alistair's is "I've been wondering... well, about Zevran, really." I guess I have heard those too often. haha

I don't know, it fits my snotty, spoiled human noble perfectly. Tone of voice and all. Reminds me how annoying she must be to everyone around. (with the silent protagonist it's really easy to forget otherwise, missing the other audio cues)

I think it suits my warrior perfectly as well, being a Cousland and all. I LOVE her "violent" voice. :o

We'll be kind as say that the St Crispin's Day speech isn't going to be threatened by Anora's similar effort at motivation.

The Virmire speech is much, much better.

Omg yes, I picked violent voice and only got the character through the first floor of the Tower of Ishal before I deleted her. I was soloing her, so she was literally saying the phrase every 30 freaking seconds.

All I could think was, umm this character is supposed to be -me-, why is she talking back to -me-? It makes no sense, and is irritating, please please please make a patch to either get rid of that line, or allow us to mute the PC's voice, but not companion voices.

Not really a line, but you know what REALLY bugs me? The sound of Shale's walking. Do you have any idea how hard it is to concentrate/take things seriously with that in the background?

Avernus: "Even now the demons seek to replenish their numbers..."

The female sultry voiceset:

"My, my, what's all the fuss about?"

Ummm, maybe you haven't been paying attention but there seems to be a friggin' blight happening here...

Isolde and Leliana's voice, especially, as mentioned, "TEEgan" and "Well aren't we sweet and attentive."

Bodhain trying to talk you into buying the hat or cheese knife.

When Alistair talks like he's king even when he's not.

Oh my god, yes! I was just looking to see if anyone else had posted this yet. My thoughts exactly!
Unfortunately, this dialogue option is unavailable in game: "I love you Alistair, but if you say that one more time I'm going to make you sleep with Morrigan at the end of this playthrough. No joke."  :P

I'd like to add my vote to:
Isolde saying "Teegan"
"Can I get you a ladder? So you can get off my back?"
Dog barking - While getting solicited for tent-time with Alistair, I may have actually said out loud, "Oh my god! I'm trying to get laid here! Will you SHUT UP!"

Oh, and also, when Morrigan's talking about fooling local law in forcement when someone in a village called her a witch.  She say's "Child's Play" reeeeally weird at the end of a sentence.  I cringe every time.

Odd, but the dog barking never annoyed me. Maybe it's because I'm a dog person who lives in a town with other houses close by, but I've always figured that barking dogs were kind of like the sound of traffic. Unless it's your dog in your house, you just tune it out. Come to think of it, though, I don't remember my own dogs barking quite that much, unless strangers were on the property, they had been left outside to do their business quite long enough, or something was very, very wrong, like the time a potential thief had broken into the basement but had been unable to get past the deadbolt between the basement and the rest of the house. That was scary, even if it ended well. Or unless there was a squirrel in the yard. Dogs will be dogs.

Actually yes, I can't stand having Shale in the party for too long because of this, I just feel like people should be running away from my group in town when they hear that scrape-thud-scrape-thud-scrape-thud coming up the road. Seriously it's very very loud and unsettling.

On that note Dog needs to shut the hell up, Schmooples too if you get him, although for some reason I found the grunt-squeaking less annoying than the barking.

Ditto. Doesn't bother me really. Hmmm....I guess it could be a bit quieter for those of us that don't know how to tune it outImage IPB. But now that I pay attantion to it, the dog does bark a bit too much.

In my current playthrough I was planning on keeping Loghain alive for the first time. I was assuming that Loghain did the speech instead of Alistair at the end, but apparently not. That is quite the disappointment. Well, I guess stuffing Anora in the dungeon while I go slay the Archdemon may have been the better option for everyone. Also I am thankful I never picked the violent voice.

Anything said by Lady Dace in Orzammar.  What I wouldn't have given for a *slap* option for her...

(when you tell her you're a Warden)
"Ah. Such a noble profession, cleaning up whatever darkspawn stragglers make it to the surface."

(if you're a dwarf commoner)
"Are you one of those tiresome noble-hunters? Neither my sons nor I are interested."
