 If I type a line here, then press Shift-Space (typically accidentally) the entire line is erased, and I have to Ctrl-Z to get it back.

This does not occur in Wordpad, OpenOffice, Tumblr, or any other site.  What could be doing this?

Shorts, I am having the EXACT same experience as well. It just started happening for me on the BSN a week or so ago.

I hadn't tied it directly to Shift-space and I didn't need to hit Ctrl-V to get my accidentally-cut text back, it seemed to repost itself the next time I hit the space bar... but the cursor is BEHIND the pasted text, not in front of it, like it would be with a normal paste.

I had just assumed my typing skills had recently gone crazy. I've only been on the BSN on my home PC or my phone (where it wouldn't really apply).

Chrome. But I haven't done any updates on it recently, no changes to the keyboard or hardware setup, nothing like that.

EDIT: Also, I've been using Chrome for over a year now on the BSN, that is nothing new.

 Chrome, and the problems are new.   
Weirdly they also only seem to happen in full response mode.

Yes, in editing this post to add the "oh wait" line, I tested and discovered that I also experience this issue.

I concur with the standard, full form where I see the problems.

So we've narrowed it down to Chrome and the full response box. It would be nice if a mod could verify if this is a problem they are looking at? Looks like we've been just talking to ourselves so far.

I've had the same problem for a week or two. Google Chrome, standard form, same as ya'll.

Using chrome, it's usually in the standard form but sometimes in the quick reply too.

Thought my keyboard was going wonkie for a few weeks now. But could only reproduce it in these forums. Happens nowhere else. Not in MS Word, Notepad, N++, other forums.

Glad I looked here. Was getting really concerned for my sanity.
