Like the title says can we have a qunari (that doesn't  follow the Qun) as a playable character. Anyone agree this would be awesome

sadly i prefer playing as a human, the elves in dao were ok, but i just prefer human protagonist, mind i mostly play females, and most other female races just look weird to me

Qunari as a possible race option for the protagonist? Lets ask Sten if such a thing seems likely

I want a second opinion, TF2 Engineer what do you think?

Really? Damn, cast of Street Fighter?

Ok that was kind of negative, Darth Vader perhaps you can give us some hope, do you think Qunari will be a playable race?

Well ****, Sten do you think there is any chance we will be able to play any race other than human?

Well, they did make that concept art of a Kossith in Seeker/Inquisitor armor. But then again, they also made a concept art of a female Kossith..

Havent seen it, have they actually released any concept art for DA3 yet or anything?

They havn't "released" anything yet. But some concept art have been leaked, if we are to believe the stories.

I hope so. As I hope in Elf and Dwarf as playable races.

Sadly, most people prefer the old human, and with with a voiced character I fear there aren't a lot of chance to have the righterous freedom to chose the race of our character.

But I don't make a great deal. If there aren't other playable races than Human, I'm saving money and not buyng DA3.
simple.

Kossith is the one and only race other than human I would consider playing in DA3 as my first character. Sure I like dwarves and elves alright, and I would probably give them both a whirl for a third and fourth character, at least if we are given something like origins, but beyond that I almost always play human. Kossith however were made really visually appealing and interesting in DA2. I would very much like it if I could make a Tal-Vashoth or something.

If we do get to play as a Kossith I suspect it will be only once the story moves north to focus on the Tevinter-Qunari situation.

No such concept art was part of the leak. We saw Cassandra in her Seeker armor, and that same concept art was part of the leak but there were no Kossith at all. We got a description of a Kossith named the Iron Bull, but he's a mercenary.

I hope so. I was disappointed when you couldn't have the Qunari mage in DA2 as a possible companion. It would have been a super dynamic added the game.

That was DA2 concept art if you're talking about Kossith in Seeker armor.

This time infinity. Love me some elves Posted Image!

This could also support racial equality for the PC. Correct me if I'm wrong, (I'm not great at this), but Kossith typically have American accents, like Dwarves and City Elves. So really, it's only the Humans and the Dalish that are the trouble makers when it comes to accents. And it's not like you can't just say that the PC grew up somewhere the accents are predominantly American and not  the stereotypical posh accent or cockney. Or Scouse. Yes, in fact, make our PC a Scouser.
