This is basically a MP patch which is a good thing so now they can focus all on SP bugs.

Pros: 10% extra creds for personal extraction, headshots on bosses, fixing the mods from Leviathan not carried over into NG+

Cons:......Krysae.......that is all. Pyros are not that scary.

Geth pyros are not a problem on FBW - usually I kill them with biotic explosions anyway :P

But why was that fix a platform specific fix?

My Xbox crashed on Rio on a regular basis. The Xboxes of my friends as well. To the point that we had to stop playing it. There are many posts in the BSN confirming this for other Xbox players. So why would you just fix it for the PC?

We only observed the issue internally on PC, the code was included on consoles as well, so if it was caused by the same issue it will be fixed as well

I also saw one of the devs say that the drell kits were gona get a revamp for pull. I don't see any drell mentioned :( Maybe it'll be in the next patch (in like 6 months -.-)

I don't see the issue where picking up mods in single-player doesn't always unlock the corresponding upgrade.

Do you know if that got fixed in this patch, or is at least something you guys are aware of (it's been mentioned on the forums enough that I assumed it would be somewhere on the radar)?

Interesting, perhaps will make solo'ing on certain maps easier for characters with specific weapons.

Awesome change which is of no real concern for me as I usually deal with Pyros by giving them a lift grenade to chew on, a few harrier rounds and then finish them off with a headbutt or two.

Seems like you're trying to "gently encourage" a bit more diversity in the maps and enemies people choose to play against. I can't help but feel that this wont be enough.... However, due to the layout/spawn locations, its substantially easier to run and gun on glacier / rio if its a farm game than on FBW, so I guess more farm games on those maps is better.

I'm going to give you guys the benefit of the doubt on this one, others are sceptical, but seen as how all these other changes are making me quiver with excitement I think I believe you. You tried to fix it before and failed, I have every confidence that you've got it now.

I'm a little confused as to this, does this specifically mean that banshees will now teleport over the FBW cuddly counter and eat the farmers, or does this mean that banshee's  will no longer teleport into "interesting places" and get stuck (the box under the bridge on London, the high buildings where enemies spawn on Ghost, the raised, inaccessable platforms on Reactor) ???

Can't see this affecting a huge number of situations, but I guess it makes sense. You'd be able to tell its a hologram of a salarian if you got close enough. Never use SalEng, but the change to combat drones is interesting, though again, not very influencial for me personally (because I always forget to deploy my drone after it suicides itself).

This, I like. :o It applies to all weapons I presume? Nice to see bioware buffing snipers (which I never use anyway :unsure:) and people who actually care where they are aiming at.

Interesting choice, though I agree with this completely. Getting the back of the atlas buggered by my claymore should hurt. I'll need to take a look at the back of an atlas in a jpg, so I can determine exactly where the exhaust port is situated, or am I being silly because its the big circular part dead centre....?

Personal accountability. This mission doesn't succeed without you soldier and you will get your maggot ass to the shuttle in time, or you'll be left as carrion to feed the brutes!

  • Singularity no longer has a maximum number of charges and will only be destroyed when the time runs out
  • Performing a biotic combo on someone floating in the singularity no longer ends the singularity
  • Base cooldown changed to 8 seconds
  • Base duration of the singularity changed to 8 seconds
  • Base power now does 100 points of damage per second to all targets that are in range, even if not floating in the singularity
  •  Base power sets up biotic combos on everyone that comes into range (only 1 combo added per enemy per cast of singularity)
  • Rank 3 changed to a damage over time bonus (used to be a radius and duration bonus)
  • Evolve 1 changed to singularity duration bonus (used to be a hold duration bonus and number of charges increase)
  • Evolve 5 changed to damage over time bonus (used to be a radius increase mechanic)
  • Evolve 6 now detonates biotic combos when the singularity explodes

- Fixed an issue with the Krysae Sniper rifle not functioning properly on squad members (Firefight pack)

overall great patch, but the krysae is dead now! (i dont use it long time ago anyway).

when exactly will be the patch released??

and please devs explain the krogan and batarian new stagger thing. No stagger at all like n7 destroyer w devastator mode?

One question I do have for you Bioware, are there sound fixes for Dark Channel and some Nades? I only see weapon sound fixes listed. These issues make my ears bleed due to adjusting in game volume for my headphones...

MP bugs are a lot harder to fix (or replicate) than SP bugs.

The not-being able to grab the Geth's #2 most dangerous unit is a big issue. It's like allowing Rocket Troopers to fire 3-4 rockets instead of 2 or giving Hunters a sync-kill.
