First and foremost, thanks very much for this Mr. Priestly, the development crew and the other BW team members, the notes and the impending
patch I'm sure are all much appreciated by the players.

FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR TUCHANKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Fixed weapons with natural piercing from having their damage reduced with piercing mods equipped
Interesting, perhaps will make solo'ing on certain maps easier for characters with specific weapons.
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Incinerate power evolution 5 now gives a damage bonus to frozen and chilled enemies
Glad to hear, will be worth checking out to see how viable it is on FQE versus the straight up armour damage evo.

- Krogan Vanguard Rage bonuses now work properly
MMMMMMRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!! HAW HAW HAW! THEY'RE DEAD!
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Fixed quitting/disconnecting while holding Retrieve Object that could cause the Retrieve Object to disappear
Appreciated Soldier *salutes*, Admiral Hackett
WILL have his pizza, come reapers or disconnections from EA server!
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Players can no longer grab Geth Pyros over cover
Awesome change which is of no real concern for me as I usually deal with Pyros by giving them a lift grenade to chew on, a few harrier rounds and then finish them off with a headbutt or two.
Seems like you're trying to "gently encourage" a bit more diversity in the maps and enemies people choose to play against. I can't help but feel that this wont be enough.... However, due to the layout/spawn locations, its substantially easier to run and gun on glacier / rio if its a farm game than on FBW, so I guess more farm games on those maps is better.

- Fixed an issue when using Biotic Charge before death that caused the match to be unplayable afterwards
I'm going to give you guys the benefit of the doubt on this one, others are sceptical, but seen as how all these other changes are making me quiver with excitement I think I believe you. You tried to fix it before and failed, I have every confidence that you've got it now.
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Fixed pathing for Banshees so they don't get stuck in a teleport routine
I'm a little confused as to this, does this specifically mean that banshees will now teleport over the FBW cuddly counter and eat the farmers, or does this mean that banshee's will no longer teleport into "interesting places" and get stuck (the box under the bridge on London, the high buildings where enemies spawn on Ghost, the raised, inaccessable platforms on Reactor) ???
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Fixed Asari Justicar from not being able to activate Biotic Sphere within range of large enemies
What kind of truck does an Asari drive?...... They don't drive a truck, justicar! Happy blue bubbles of protecty goodness for all sundry!
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Fixed dropping Retrieve Objects that could potentially fall under the level
(same as above) Appreciated Soldier, Admiral Hackett
WILL have his pizza, come reapers or disconnections from EA server!
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Fixed an issue with the Banshee being able to sync-kill players farther than she should be able to
No more.... SPACE MAGIC FOR BANSHEES?

Just glad to see you haven't fixed the stairs exploit that I've been abusing with glee for quite some time now....

- Fixed SMG Ultralight Materials Mod not having impact on power recharge speed
I'll use Tychus Findlay to describe how I feel about this:

- Fixed Armor Piercing Ammo not applying penetration bonus to secondary weapon
Oh, so thats why the harrier tickles a guardian with AP IV...
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Melee creatures will now completely ignore pets (drones, decoys, etc.) rather than just having a chance to ignore them
Can't see this affecting a huge number of situations, but I guess it makes sense. You'd be able to tell its a hologram of a salarian if you got close enough. Never use SalEng, but the change to combat drones is interesting, though again, not very influencial for me personally (because I always forget to deploy my drone after it suicides itself).
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Can now headshot Banshees, Geth Primes, and Brutes for an extra 40% weapon damage.
This, I like.

It applies to all weapons I presume? Nice to see bioware buffing snipers (which I never use anyway

) and people who actually care where they are aiming at.
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Can now shoot the Atlas’ exhaust port on his back for an extra 40% weapon damage.
Interesting choice, though I agree with this completely. Getting the back of the atlas buggered by my claymore should hurt. I'll need to take a look at the back of an atlas in a jpg, so I can determine exactly where the exhaust port is situated, or am I being silly because its the big circular part dead centre....?
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Fixed the health bar position of Tactical Scan on Swarmers
You buffed the swarmers? Nooooooooooooooo. Now I'll have to use a missile whenever there's more than 3 coming at me.
Chris Priestly wrote...
- Successfully extracting from a match gives 10% bonus credits. This reward does not depend on your squad members – you must extra personally to get the reward.
Personal accountability. This mission doesn't succeed without you soldier and you will get your maggot ass to the shuttle in time, or you'll be left as carrion to feed the brutes!
I rate this
patch 5/5 on the Scottish Haggis Scale of Awesome.
