Come on, Malachaai. I get that you like the game, but 'so fantastic nothing comes close to it'? Something tells me you need to play more.
I haven't read through the thread so I can't comment on other posters' reaction, but I sure as hell know that I'm not going to bow down to them like the almighty gods of gaming for *maybe* fixing some out of a tremendous amount of bugs that shouldn't have been in the game in the first place. 
Not to mention, I vaguely remember my game f*cking up more in different areas after the last patch...

That said, I'm not saying I'm not looking forward to the patch (provided it works properly). But when I pay for a product I expect it to work properly. I won't hug the sellers and jump for joy if I return a faulty blender and they replace it with a working one. It's what they're supposed to do if they sold me a faulty product.

So no fix for getting stuck in the Normandy's cockpit yet? When are they going to fix that?

Thanks for the other fix's, though, but the cockpit issue on the PC REALLY needs to be fixed. I have to save the game every time before I go into the cockpit because 1/3 of the time I get stuck and can't get out and have to restore. :-(

Hmm.. I believe I said "Even with the niggles, I don't think anything really comes close to it." And I've looked. Nothing else really appeals to me. I went for the N7 Deluxe Edition, I believe. Bearing in mind that I have forked for 2 copies, and am about to do it again, just so I can have my account to myself, I fully get that it's nice to have a working product.

But working in an equally ruthless industry where the guys at the top insist on ridiculously tight deadlines, regardless of the cost, and feel nothing about working the guy at the bottom of the pile till they pass out, or end up a gibbering wreck in the corner (trust me, been there, done that) I can sympathise with lowly programmers. All we see is the finished, buggy product, not the guys trying to give us what we want. So yes, I'm giving those guys at the bottom a hug, and a pat on the back, because I know they have crap bosses, demanding the impossible. You can end the violins now.

Hmmm, Not sure what they classify as "Melee" But i'm thinking, Brutes, Banshees, Husks and Phantoms.

I was looking at what your whole message boiled down to. And yes, I get that you enjoy it tremendously, all its "little" faults and all, but that doesn't really mean others 'forget' how fantastic it is, cause the fact you haven't given more quality products a chance doesn't make this one top of the line... So naturally if, by comparing it to other things, people see a lack of quality, they have a right to voice it. And, well, I'm not one to buy three faulty blenders just cause they come in black...

Ah, yes, deadlines. Is there such a point where deadlines stop being an excuse for plain incompetence? Or am I supposed to consider absolutely game-breaking bugs a 'niggle'?  How does one excuse a fix that needs a fix of its own with 'deadlines'? Yes, yes, life is hard and violins are playing... but there are standards to be met regardless.

Yes this shows the skill of BioWare. While it should only take any time when loadinga map, this MASSIVE BUG EFFECT 3, makes you wait:

# Load the game itself ?!? - shouldn´t be more than 1-2 seconds, but takes more than 20sec

# Then to be able to actually use the Main Menu, while doing nobody knows what, it takes another 30 seconds

# Clicking on Multiplayer takes you onto another journey of endless waiting, 20 seconds

# Once in Multiplayer, joining a friends game: you wait 20 seconds, then choose character???!!!, then another 20-30 seconds to tell you the GAME IS FULL (BW stated they´ve fixed it, hope so)

# Joining (LOADING, loading what please?) a Lobby takes you 20-30 seconds, please who programmed this game so bad???

All in all a total troll journey of endless, useless, UNNEEDED waiting, the only waiting that should take some time depending on your "hard-drive" is while loading a map, nothing else.

Bad programming work, really the worst I have ever seen in any game.

Can't grab Geth pyros over cover.......o_O
I still can't understand why we can't grab Phantoms, as small and petite as they are we should be able to yank them easily over cover cause they gotta weigh about 90-105 lbs!!! still more good things fixed and added than nerfs!!!

I bet $50 that the vanguard glitch, floating over the map, will still be there after this patch #4.

I have a 7200 rpm HDD and to load multiplayer main menu(also when i go back from a lobby) it takes 40 seconds,it's a shame,we can't play this way,OH I FORGOT ABOUT THE HUGE WAIT WHEN YOU GO ON THE STORE! SHAME!!!!! I HOPE THIS WILL BE PATCHED OR I WILL VOTE YOU AS WORST SH AND NEVER BUY OTHER BW GAMES!

I´ve checked it now again, but this time looking on my chronograph.

So up to the main menu (Single Player, Multiplayer, Extras-> Credits, great Music there) it takes unbelievable 1 minute and 10 seconds, thats absolute BS.

Then "loading" (what is this loading at all please?) MP part takes exactly 40 seconds - totally unbearable.

To get out of a Lobby "un-loaded" it takes another 30 seconds.

To get into the store it takes way too long, huge 25 seconds, to get out, well sometimes you won´t get out anymore (when entering store while in Lobby), until you force close and restart your game.

Wow, so I'm gone for 5 days and come back and find this. A big patch that tackles a big bunch of problems of the mulitplayer. So I guess all those BioWare guys hanging around the forum last week was no coincidence after all. Nice job guys, that patch really is needed.....

Now, if only we get a new big dlc.....
