If it's stumping you, how 'bout this: release the firing range in the form of DLC (or optional DLC, since I know not everyone has this issue), and overwrite that area of the game so that the original on-disc firing range is no longer accessible. This, of course, is based on the assumption that it's potentially just corrupted on game discs since a majority of players have reported the ability to successfully access the firing range after changing from Disc 1 to Disc 2 (or vice versa). The only reason I'm really concerned is because this issue has been going on since day 1.
Back to topic: I'm excited simply because I've seen a lot of these corrections heavily recommended and griped about, and because FBWGG has nearly ruined this game for me, and many, many others, I'm sure.

I'm not entirely sure why this was patched, you aren't exactly doing more damage than you should be able to, well... I guess you are doing more damage per a second with the combined power of Reegar Carbine and Flamer, but dang it I enjoyed doing this.. mixing blue and red for glorious pacification tactics. ;^; /sniffle

I know exactly how you feel. Apparently it was "fixed" because the "DPS was too high for close quarters". They're both extreme close range and the only time you'd be using the combo is when you're dealing with a lot of standard enemies or against a boss that can kill you almost instantly; both times are exactly when you need to use the combo.

I see I'm not the only PC user disappointed with the textures. It's actually worse than ME2 and really bad on Shepard's armour - the one you see the closest. Well it was with my N7 Defender armour. A pixelated mess.
What's even more disappointing is the fact the Wii U is getting optimised treatment thru a 3rd party dev on a platform with no users yet. Not that they shouldn't but is it too much to ask for such a basic respect for PC's users. Removal of controller input was just strange. At the very least please give us a high resolution texture pack. How hard can that be?
Actually the textures themselves are the same as the ones used for Mass Effect 2. The problem is their normal maps were reduced in quality by a large margin. They went from being either as large as the main texture, to the next size down in ME2, to being about an 8th or 1/4 of the texture's size in ME3. The Terminus Armor is the best example of this sporting a 128x128 normal map in ME3 and had one at least 512x512 in size in ME2. The main texture is still 1024x1024 and matches the one pulled from Mass Effect 2 exactly.
I went so far as to create my own textures for the game. Unfortunately, the lack of mod support mandates we use Texmod to do use them. That's why I'd at least like BioWare to create a texture mod folder the game could check for and use if there are textures present in it.

My question is: how will this advance the player base? Is there anything here that would make you want to contact your friends list about???
Needed bug fixes like the stupid Banshee teleport problems and their grabbing distances needed to be addressed. I think players get pissed off at things like this and addressing them can really help the player base. I'm certain there is more coming that we don't know about yet. Not necessarily in this patch, but shortly there after.

If Pyros are too heavy to grab, they should also be too heavy to roll out of the way of biotic attacks.
Yeah!! I guess my KROGAN BATTLEMASTER hasn't spent enough time in the Gym to grab em suckers...if Bioware decides to pull this off they should complete remove the Pyro's Flamethrower ability to be able to DAMAGE a player from considerable distance with spam, even they stay in cover.

1) Wait, what? You mean Geth Pyros, who are the same size as trooper-level enemies, can no longer be grabbed and will thus be able to spam their flamethrowers THROUGH crouch-cover for as long as they want? (I say THROUGH cover because they're capable of inflicting a fair amount of damage even if their flamethrower is aimed downwards.)
2) YAY! We can finally use SMG Ultralight on its own! My power-based classes thank you!
