I've never understood why they took such a huge step backward on that. The original system worked. It was easy to use and made sense. The new one is fairly worthless and is more annoying than anything.

Because Origin always gets its updates around that time. It's been the same with all DLCs as well.

A lot of things in the game don't make a lot of sense, including probable weight of grabbed targets. The only reason they are being made ungrabbable is because they are considered a sub-boss class enemy and no other sub-boss types are grabbable in any other factions (brute and phantom). It's not a matter of "on second thought, pyros should be too heavy" because if it was, then NONE of the geth units should be grabbable.


Well Banshee's have clearly been modified by the Reapers. Also they have biotics and can probably do a lot of things you couldn't imagine a tiny human woman doing. We also don't know how heavy Geth really are given that they are made of some type of synthetic flesh with very light armor. They were not actually designed with military purpose in mind. Most were construction, farming, and other types of service units. Primes and the like have evolved over time, but obviously still with the original Geth body design as a basis. Suits like the Defender armor worn by many of the humans also enhance strength to some extent. So you can reason many of these things out with the limited data we have.

Best not to over think it though.

And I'm looking forward to tomorrow's patch.


That's basically what I'm saying. The change to pyros only makes sense when looked at from a gameplay perspective when compared to other things, many of which are only defined with unknowns.

hey something that maybe the testers didnt see or just havent fixed yet:
if you use the n7 destroyer with smg hurricane (with more ammo mod) and activate the armor skill (to have more ammo and more shield) the gun get stuck with 1 bullet and doesnt reload automaticly (the weapon fire so fast than each shot cost 2 bullets. do you knew it?

Does Bioware have any plans to patch up the rannoch reaper conversation the scene bounces back and forth like crazy and your quest journal be nice to have more description in what your suppose to do

This all looks great (all though i feel kink of scared of geth pyros now :) ). You guys have to look at it this way, this will change a lot the way to play some characters and enemies.

Now we need another enemy faction. Collectors maybe???

Curious, I read through the list, was there a fix for picking up weapon mod upgrades that are not appearing? That's the biggest problem for me. Just want to make sure I won't have that problem anymore.

So are the weapon mods that where "removed" from the manifest after the Earth DLC getting added back in? I thought one of you devs said with the next patch but I'm not seeing anything. Or is is it the thing about the encumbrance bar(if so, really? That's what wasn't working with them)

They should be at least "fixed" with the patch I would think. Whether or not they come out now or with the next DLC is another story.

If that was the case SMG ULM should/could have worked the entire time, instead of bieng bugged and not actually doing anything

My guess is it was an unintentional bug, that worked in our favor. But I'd really like to know the actual reason code wise

By their own admission they are setting up the game for future DLC's. It will be interesting to see the size of the patch when all is said and done.

Wait... what??? That was the best way to combat them and a fun way to get grabs! C'mon!

Thanks for the rest of the work and patch fixes. Sure would like to have pyro grab back though!
