Yay!  Hopefully I'll be able to find Platinum matches now that aren't FBWXP.


Now it will be just Rio & Glacier. Farming isnt going anywhere dude unless they get rid of the grinding caused by RNG

10% extra credits really helps silver players. Previously it was approx 30k per match, now you could get 33k = equipment pack, OR 3x successful silver = 1 x PSP. Much more reasonable.

Some interesting changes here - shame about shockwave radius but equally the shaking effect makes shockwave unbearable anyway. I hope the Rio melee fix + Vanguard fixes actually make that map playable without a compete crash to desktop

Do the Singularity and Concussive Shot changes apply only to multiplayer, or will these changes apply to both single player and multiplayer?

I don't like this for some reason, but at least we might get less FBWGG.

- All Batarian and Krogan kits will now stagger less than other kits
Great, finally like it should be.

- Melee creatures will now completely ignore pets (drones, decoys, etc.) rather than just having a chance to ignore them
So a decoy is not a decoy anymore? Well at least ranged enemies still target it for a while I guess.

- Krysae no longer ignores enemy shield gates
Isn't the Krysae already bad enough?

- Fixed an issue with enemies approaching a downed player to execute, but showing mercy and leaving
I thought this was working as intended, just a random chance to survive.

- Successfully extracting from a match gives 10% bonus credits. This reward does not depend on your squad members – you must extra personally to get the reward.
Cool, maybe then people will actually finish games.

- Fixed Flamer power of Vorcha from being activated simultaneously with the Reegar Carbine
Honestly that was the only reason I sometimes used Vorcha.

What about being able to rearrange our skills in multiplayer just like in singleplayer - holding shift and dragging the skills around?
Where's the headshot damage on bosses?

I didn't see the fix to the ending chat with catalyst where the mini flash scenes are shown when asking for more details on the choices.

Is that being patched with this?

No Phantom Fixes?

Delightful. More fun with 90% DR permanently, Bubble Shield lockdown, and synckills the second you're in range.

No dodge rate Fixes?

Kick-ass. Now I can continue to lose projectile powers to enemies randomly hopping slightly to the right.

No Geth staggerproof bug fixes?

Awesome. Now I can continue to get killed by enemies who are dead/stunned/flying.

No Geth weapon refresh bug fixes?

Groovy. Now I can keep getting hit by missiles from enemies not facing me.

No attempt to fix line-of-sight targetting bugs?

Tubular. Now I can keep getting killed by shots going around corners and turrets being placed behind me through walls.

No attempt whatsoever to fix things like max target bugs?

Wonderful. Now I can hit a target with a power and hit nothing but Swarmers.


I like that you guys fixed a lot of the bugs, but a ton of the worst offenders remain.

So... thought this patch would include PS3 players being able to see the splash screen we currently don't get for operations? Bryan Johnson intimated that this would be a patch fix.

Just curious. The rest sounds great. Loving the extra credits for extracting!

The melee creatures ignoring pets and decoys is very concerning. Depending on how this works out say goodbye to the Salarian with his decoy. He simply cannot be justified.

WHAT?! That's not a fix! That was my main strategy against Geth Pyros!! Take cover right in from of them and when they close BAM dead!

Otherwise, awesome work on the fixes ;)

I feel so bad for the Krysae. Not only has it been needed like 5 times already, but now it gets this. It was a nice gun. Everything else sounds good. But one thing that bothers me is that there are certain things some of the devs said were going to be fixed (like the splash screen ps3 issue) are nowhere to be found in these patch notes. Could be that Chris forgot and we should get some type of confirmation

You said this patch will be coming this week? When, exactly? Today, tomorrow... what?

Looks like most of the problems have been fixed, including that Leviathan DLC bug that was getting on my nerves about the new weapon mods in NG+. But I think it stinks that we can no longer grab Pyros (I think Pyros should nerfed in MP Balance Changes, considering). The +10% credits bonus for Extractions sounds nice, though. Now I may have a reason to fight all the way to extraction, even on Platinum.
