I'm not aware of any fix to the bonuses it was getting from power damage, so I think it should still be getting those even though it's not supposed to.

I would like for turians to roll... but they would have to look as awkard rolling as a geth pyro.  I imagine the audio file would play something that sounds like metal crash cans getting kicked and banged with baseball bats.

Meh. This smells very much of a Geth buff. One gets used to reality, which has been for month now that Pyros can be grabbed like other small enemies.

Missed these:
-Weapon mod intended for the earth dlc will be added to the game
-Guerrilla and Combative gear will now increase damage by 14% for listed weapons

PC
-Fixed an issue where players would get stuck on a "Joining game" screen. Players will now be able to join or simply receive an "unable to join" message.

The Pyros should continue to be grabbable.  I'd rather they add a new Geth unit that's armored, shielded, etc. that's a big tank unit higher up than the Prime.  Make it capable of shooting at multiple players at a time.  No worries about grabbing something like that.  In ME1, they had Geth Colossus that were pretty strong.

What was Bioware thinking in the first place? They completely trashed the weapon and it now has zero usability. Back then, it was decent to kill phantoms and hunters with but with this.....just wow. :unsure:

This confuses me. We've been hauling them over cover since release and they just now say we aren't supposed to? I smell a geth buff too.

I'm not sure what to think of the Pyros just yet. I don't like the idea of that flame thrower pinning me down, but then what's the purpose of a flame thrower if not to flush targets out of cover? ...oh right, burning them in cover.

Riiiiiiiight. Because a high DPS power like Flamer and stacking regeneration have no value at all, right? This is the kind of prissy over-dramatic reaction that I come to BSN for.

Buffing the pyro might allow them to scale back the cheap factor in other ways.  A lot of the 'balance' changes geth received seemed to be in direct response to the farmers.

I don't think either Phantoms or Pyros are overpowered. They both just require particular attention or strategires, unlike standard mooks. And that is as it should be. If every enemy demanded an identical approach, the game would be very boring. Phantoms are a walk in the park for certain classes, and tougher for others. The same will be true for Pyros. This just making picking them out and finishing them from a distance that much more important.

I also think that the camper hate is just dumb. Who cares how someone else chooses to play the game? If that option weren't available, there would just be more overmatched players in higher difficulty levels. One way or another, this is an open game, not everyone is going to play the way you want them to. Get over it. (Not directed at you, OP). Real combat looks a lot more like camping than it does like roaming.

Well, that would be great, but somehow I don´t believe they are gonna do that. And sadly, yes, I agree that geth changes seem to stem mainly from farming issue.
I already hate Geth so much, that making "no grab pyros" can´t make it much worse Image IPB

Don't agree with the removal of grab Pyro at all. Silent sneak, virtual instakill on Gold for all but the most tanky classes, and hunt in packs. What exactly are non elite players supposed to do with them?

another crazy idea .. If they didn't fix atlas piercing bug - can we score triple headshot with one bullet vs them ?!?!?!? :devil::devil: 

They probably fixed it this time but for some reason are not  mentioning it in the patch notes ...

that requires that you see them far away enough. Caught by surprise? You're dead. It happens to all of us, even the better players. By comparison the Phantoms practically send you a telegram and herald their arrival with a trumpet fanfare.

It's adding an instakill by any other name.

Is BioWare aware of the bug with Ballistic Blades not going over waist-high cover? Is that something that's gonna be looked at for the next patch? Batty, as I call him, is my bro and I'd like for him to be even more awesome than he already isB)
