No, he means evolution 3, which is Rank 5.

Rank 4 = Evo's 1 (top) & 2 (bottom)
Rank 5 = Evo's 3 (top) & 4 (bottom)

I mentioned that this was missing in page 2 of the patch announcement thread. This will probably effect me the most :D.

Weirdly I always aimed at that anyway if the Atlas was facing away from me - it just looked like such a tempting bullseye...

Clarification question about this:

Is it 40% of the base damage (additive with other bonuses) OR 40% of total damage (multiplicative) ?

It makes a big difference, 40% additive is rather small (compared to 250% to mooks), but 40% multiplicative is a major bonus (akin to pre-nerf TC rank6 sniper bonus).

If they fixed this I would be more than happy though I don't think it would convince me to start playing geth again.

The odd thing, after palying through ME1 again, this and a number of other issues have been present since the first game.

Or you can shoot it in the canopy for up to *3 total damage (potentially much more than 300% weapon damage) ?  (no mention in patch notes about the atlas canopy bug)

Other fixes listed are exactly that.  They are fixes.  They are neither buffs nor nerfs.  They are to address issues to ensure things are working as intended.

For example, it was never our intention for Sabotage to be stackable.  You were never supposed to be able to grab Geth Pyros over cover, etc.

The Krysae fix will indeed allow us to revisit this weapon and bring it "back to life."

I also remember someone saying they were looking at banshee warp as it is much harder to dodge than it should be. Don't see that in the notes....

I think the krysae patch-nerf will make it possible for them to buff it back to relevancy.


We will be looking at the Krysae in the near future once the fix is in.

You should be happy. There's now a 100% chance of a Sabotage buff now that the #1 balancing issue with it has been fixed - all sabotage teams stacking the tech vulnerability multiplier.
