[Hyperglide]

In the spirit of the thread where you post your favourite (I'm Canadian this is how we spell it) character armor color schemes I noticed a couple of clever names in the screenshots.  I myself have just as much fun thinking of silly names as I do customizing their armor/lights/skin/color...  So I thought it would be a fun diversion to post your characters names.  I usually keep the same names when I promote too..   I like to put a spin on them and have a theme.  Like all my Vanguards have Van in them or some of my classes and races rhyme with the class/race.

Just keep it clean, obviously and follow forum rules.

I named my shadow Beatrix. It just fits y'know. My krogan soldier is Urdnot Hogan (after Hulk Hogan), and my krogan sentinel is Krogamania. I just envision him ripping the tech armor off like when Hulk Hogan rips his tank top off every match. Would be flipping hilarious to see.

GE is Jimbot and GI is &0xdeadbeef. My brother named Jimbot, but I can't changed it because now I have this backstory in my head where my demolisher called the GE Jimbot as a joke and the thing didn't see why Jimbot was any less appropriate than Jim, and meanwhile GI is a C++ coding joke (my GI is a pointer to the location of deadbeef. it's probably funnier to me than to any one else ).

I name my Vorcha Sentinel "Bioware" and then i play a bronze match and lose completely on purpose. I call it "Artistic Integrity".

Only unique one I ever did for them was 'Number 4'

I would just be happy if the game would display your character name in lobby and in waves instead of just your account name. Leave the account name for friend searches.

But I do see why Bioware may think not to bother. The game was designed around promotion. You can rename your character each time you do. Maybe they saw no value in the character name... but they obviously let you name them, so there has to be some value.

Not bad, I guess that tells us about your playstyle?

I call him usually "Riot Police" and he gets the Riot Gun (Piranha, but lethal rounds) a Taser (Acolyte) and a blue uniform with stripes. No Incinerate, a decent police wouldn't go out and scorch the unruly populace with fire.

Those are the only consistent ones. The others I sometimes name but not usually. I hate having to rename them all the time. Especially when you're not on a PC but rather a console. PC players probably have no trouble typing in the name, its not really a hassle. Console users, without a usb keyboard or something, have to enter the names slow as hell. I could write a paragraph on the PC in the time it takes for me to enter a word using the PS3's "on-screen keyboard". Because of this a lot of my characters are called randomly punched numbers or letters.
