I have two personal favorite names that I always put on my characters.

My Kroguard is named Urdnot Shaq. His Color Scheme is Purple and Gold. He can slam dunk better than anyone, but he can't hit a shot from anything further than point blank range to save his life.

My Geth Infiltrator is named 404. Do I even need to explain that one?

EDIT: I should also note that, when I can't come up with a suitable name for anyone, I turn to MST3K's Space Mutiny routine. Punch Sideiron and Blast Hardcheese have been valiant N7 Soldiers for the past year, and I see no reason to send them away.

That's pretty much it.

I don't name the others because I rarely use them.

Mainly I just use Leviathan, Tank, and Mark4Death. (Leviathan was named that like 3 months before the DLC...)

I pick random things for themes and name my current characters after them, some of them just get other random names. Right now, I have:

Adept: Blueberry (Asari), Bluebird (Justicar), Tucker (Cerberus Adept)
Soldier: Bongo (Krogan), Butterfinger (Turian), Kit Kat (Destroyer
Engineer: Cookie Dough (Human Female), Milky Way (Quarian), Reeses (Salarian), Babe Ruth (Quarian Male), Whatchamacallit (Demolisher)
Sentinel: Mr. Goodbar (Turian), Bonky (Krogan), Heath (Batarian), Butter Pecan (Vorcha), M&M (Paladin)
Infiltrator: Crunch (Quarian), Zero (Shadow)

And I currently have no Vanguards. Yes, most of them are named after candy bars at the moment. No idea which theme the next round gets.
