Just started a new playthrough and decided to become an archer when I just finished Ostagar. The thing is: I'm a warrior and I don't want to begin a new save with a rogue. So I was wondering, how effective is a Warrior-Archer?

not very, however in my opinion no archery is effective. but at least rogues were built for it. i do not recomend waroor archer at all.

Very very effective and fun if you build well. Shale's rock mastery, bard songs, blood thirst, and proper gear means a very high crit chance, 0 attack duration even with aim always on, and over 100 damage per shot. So it's great, and just as deadly as a rogue archer; only thing is a rogue has got more utility.
And if you are importing to awakening, than a spirit warrior archer is God, literally.
