The thread was "Any Good Reason Headshots don't apply to Boss Enemies?" posted by PRC_Heavy_Z, the Bioware employee who said it was Brenon Holmes, I'm on my phone and can't copy/paste or I'd do so now, the thread is quite long and I believe he posts multiple times therein but the first of his posts about it is on the first page.

So they called it a bug when they knew that it wasn't and then later someone spilled the beans and admitted that they did it because it made bosses too easy.  This proves that they lied about boss headshots.  They're probably lying about pyro grabs as well.

Just lay 'em out before they get in your face.

You should be doing that anyway on account of the whole "Napalm" thing.

I admit, at best it seems one hand didn't know what the other was doing, at worst someone indeed seems to have lied.

My gut favors the latter, leaving a really bitter taste in my mouth.

So many TERRIBLE changes have been made to the Geth for the sake of stopping farmers and now THIS.  The extent in which farmers have been able to dictate the gaming experiences of SO MANY OTHERS is appalling.

I could be wrong, but the prevelance of farming on FBW makes it hard for me to believe otherwise.

Thank you for this thread, I was about to make one like this.

BioWare stands for their decisions. If it is EA behind them "spiking" them with this and that doesn´t matter. BioWare has to lick out the pot, if sweet or bitter, BioWare decides for itself which image it want to have publicly known.

My Question to BioWare is: why did you blatantly lied to all players with your last big patch?

Since they lied before, why would anyone have to believe BioWare anything from now on?

When it is too obvious, a smart choice would be to admit and state the facts, not hiding, or worse, continuing with their obvious falsehoods, pretending that everything mentioned in the patch notes was indeed FIXED.
When in "doubt" they take out their "joker-card" and say: "oh really? We will have to look into this..."

So BioWare removed Headshot damage (specially from Geth Prime) because it was never intended, like they stated...
REALLY? BioWare should then explain why there is (was) a proper Headshot-Animation for it on Geth Primes.

Now BioWare want to "sell" their players, in Patch #4, that it was never intended to be able to GRAB PYROS, it was like an accident that Pyros were "GRABABLE"
REALLY? BioWare should have mentioned this from day 1 after their game was available at stores, or at least shortly after that.

BioWare has two options:

1. Get things straight from now on, beeing honest to their customers

OR

2. Continue to muck around with their customers

Like I mentioned above, BioWare can decide for themselves how they want to be "seen" by their customrs in the near future.

Examples how things can go bad, by not taking their business serious, even for big publishers with own release studios, like Ubisoft, everyone interested in that matter(s) could see it happeneing in the past few months.

Lol.....I actually remember posting on a thread a long time ago that pyros should be too heavy too grab followed by an explanation....I wondered if Bioware read my post....

...or...

They had a look into their stats and saw that one guy, left alone in wave 1 on UUG -> FBWGG, grabbed ALL units but Primes behind the counter, all objective waves were "kill target", so it ended with full extraction of 1 and everything grabbed behind that desk.  (this happened to me)  I´m sure that was not the case...

It could just be, that the stats told them, that all in all, there are too many successful extractions on FBWGG, so they looked what they could change FURTHER to prevent that.

The sad part is, that I like to play Geth anywhere but FBW and sometimes I have no other option than to grab a Pyro or die, I´m sure that I´m not alone with this.

BioWare shouldn´t do this change at all.

the only thing i want to say to this is that the mp portion of this game, with its balance changes, is treated as a mmo. Which it is not, sadly i think this ruins it for a large number of people.
