What is interesting is that it worked for the VERY FIRST TRY. THe game loaded up and everything and I could enter the main menu. Then the game tried to connect to EA Online. It took pretty long time with no results. I thought that Windows Firewall was blocking it and asking permission in the background. So I tried to Alt - Tab to desktop. The screen went black and I got stuck with my screen black and saying "NO SIGNAL" and "OUT OF RANGE".
I could see that there was still something happening because the colour of the "black" was changing. Like something was still trying to alt - tab without success. Well I rebooted my computer by the power button, because that was the only thing I was able to do. (I couldnt start task manager.)
When I had completed the reboot and tried to start the game, it didnt work.
There is no error messages, nothing. I click play on Origin and it starts loading the game and it completes it to 100%, but the game never starts. I checked Task Manager and Mass Effect 3 appears there and uses ~1550 K of memory (by the Task Manager). But after about 5 secs Mass Effect 3 disappears from Task Manager.
I've tried everything fixing the problem, it seems that people HAVE HAD the same problem, but the topics I've found are several months old and I haven't found a solution in any of them. I've tried reinstalling Origin and ME3, tried trying previous ATI CCC and Origin versions, etc.
I did reinstall my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 a while ago. Could there be something missing? I am pretty sure my drivers are OK because I can play other games just fine like ARMA 2 and CS:GO.
Thoughts anyone?
