What do you think? Wouldn't it be cool if Shepard could choose his omni-blade/type? Like a Paladin's omni-shield? or a demolisher's explosive omni-gauntlet? or even the batarian's head-boom gauntlet?

It wouldn't even prevent Kai Leng's stabbing, seeing as even those classes who don't "use" the omniblade use it to kill him.
Proving he still has it and only chooses to use it for that instance because its a revenge kill.

How about Shepard uses biotic lashes similar to the Phoenix Project characters. The Alliance can possibly salvage stolen tech from Cerberus to allow this.

I want Shepard to have a freaking jetpack, or at least boosters attacked to a part of his armour so he can fast(er) evasive manuevors during combat. That'd be a ton of fun.

It would be very cool. I love playing as a vanguard or adept, but I hate not having an omni-blade. Moreover, in my opinion, the infiltrator's omni-blade is pretty lame, but the infiltrator in general is pretty badass.
Having the option to chose my heavy melee would rock. Name your price, Bioware.

Combine both ideas for one epic class.
