just a weapon discussion about the laser sighted weapons in mass 2 ,As in were to find them in game,missions if any? or what DLC packs containe these as i kinda like the lazer sighted weapon,

The only laser-sighted weapon in Mass Effect 2 is the Phalynx, available only in the Firepower Pack DLC. Also included in the DLC is the Mattock Assault Rifle and Geth Plasma Shotgun.

cool is it any gd ? just one hand gun has lazer sight damm , theres no mod add on in the table weapons creater thing

The Phalynx is essentially a replacement for the Carnifex pistol. I think it does more damage, but it may have a slightly lower rate of fire. It is a decent weapon. I find that it suffers from the same problems as the other pistols, namely you cannot get the second Pistol Damage upgrade (which unlocks the AP Pistol upgrade) until post-Horizon, same with the third Pistol Damage upgrade to unlock the Critical Damage upgrade.
As for adding in laser sights to other guns: From what I can recall, I believe a developer mentioned that they had to add in special code for the laser sights, so I do not think that you can add it easily--if at all-- to other weapons.

I found the laser on the Phalynx good for two things. First it's handy for picking out exact spots you want to send your squadmates to, far more precise than the aiming you have with any other weapon apart from sniper rifles (which usually suffer from too narrow a field of vision when placing squadmates). Secondly it lets characters without sniper rifles do a bit of semi-sniping because you can aim pretty precisely with it. Mook silly enough to leave the top of their head exposed? Put the laser on their head and fire for something between a lot of damage and a quick kill. The downside is a lousy rate of fire, especially if you've allowed yourself to be spoiled with ME1 pistols.
There's no table weapons creator thing. That came along in ME3. ME2 is simply a series of weapons that you acquire as the game goes on, each with their own innate features, advantages and drawbacks, plus a series of upgrades which are applied permanently to all weapons of a class. Both the sequels are a bit table d'hote compared to the full a la carte menu plus chef's specials board of weapons, specialty ammo and modifications in ME1.silverserfer28 wrote...
