... this is exactly what I've been craving since I started playing. So many options... I just get paralyzed with choices and have no idea what to do sometimes.
I'd love to see a comprehensive weapon/ class/ build/ team/ strategy guide once the dust from this huge (and most likely last) extended chunk of DLC settles.
Check out the "multiplayer guide" in my signature. Perhaps you'll find some stuff there. I'll likely be updating both guides as I personally get, research, experiement, and consult with others about the content.

Don't know if it was said after the first post, but the Hurricane will also not reload properly if the Expanded Clip mod is used.
You might want to double check that. I just now ran four quick tests to see.
FB Giant, Geth, Bronze
Turian Soldier...
Marksman 1-3, 4a, 5a, 6a
Concussive Shot 1-3, 4a, 5b, 6b
Proximity Mine none
Turian Veteran 1-3, 4a, 5a, 6b
Fitness 1-3, 4b, 5b, 6b
Using a Hurricane IV and no equipment.
Test 1 & 2
Mods SMG Magazine Upgrade V and SMG High Velocity Barrel V
It's an even number of rounds and auto-reloads fine. I made no use of marksman.
Test 3 & 4
Mods SMG Heat Sink V and SMG High Velocity Barrel V
It's an even number of rounds and auto-reloads fine. I made no use of marksman.
At least it doesn't happen to me. Now I am aware of a problem similar to what you describe, but as far as I know it only happens with the Destroyer. Additionally, I did note that particular issue under the description for the Hurricane.

Thanks for taking the time to create such an in depth guide.
Great help for a scrub like me ;-)

Also checked out the MP guide to see if some of the weapons you left out of this list might be there, but nope. I see that this is what you consider to be gold+ worthy, but I'm wondering if you might be interested in going all the way with the remaining weapons for the sake of people doing challenges. I've actually been pleasantly surprised with some uncommons I've used for challenges - not that I'd care to take them beyond silver with most classes, but maybe if the info were all here, we/I might be able to make some better choices for those "lesser" wepons to make them even more effective.
What say you?

I was going to make a post asking if a guide like this exists or if someone would be willing to compile one... but I found it all here. Nice

What say you?(hint hint - I'd like the Krysae stats in particular - and dare I say... the Mantis!!)
Just finished maxing my manifest and finishing all the challenges so I plan an update for both guides soon....perhaps over the weekend. As for the weapons I didn't list. Most of them are pretty straight forward and don't have anything specific tricks to them such as many of the listed ones do. The unlisted Common or Silver weapons aren't generally worth spending any time on outside of challenges. To assess a weapon, start a bronze or silver solo and see how it works. That was how I determined which guns I would work on. If it took too long to kill things I would bleed out on the second or third wave and ditch the weapon in favor of another. In regards to stats, I'd just direct you to the resources that I used, they contain the information your looking for.
Tips: the needful unlisted weapons
Incisor
Has a wide bullet spread, best used with a GI (hunter mode), Turian Soldier (marksman), or Geth Soldier (hunter mode)
Argus
Stability and bullet spread issues, best used with a Turian soldier
Vindicator
Stability issues, use any of the Turians
That's about it. The Turians and infiltrators are some of the better classes to choose for the weapon challenges.

Just to reiterate, this is my attempt to help people successfully play the higher difficulties. The target audience is beginning and intermediate level players.
This guide contains as much accurate information as I could find, ask, or personally test. Ultimately however, it is limited to my knowledge level and in many cases my "opinion".
