Honestly i doubt Femshep would be well received by anyone but ME fans i mean most action/sci-fi movies with female leads don't do very well

i don't think making a movie based on any video game is a good idea they usually Tank and cost more then they make

That's not it, he's a good actor. The movies he chooses to play in are the problem.

most of those movies don't do very well either though i am sure they would like to make money Jennifer Lawrence acted in the hunger games as a lead so yeah

In worldwide ticket sales, most of the Beckinsale and Jovovich films typically make back three times their production budget.  It's impossible to discuss The Hunger Games, given its rampant pop-culture fandom, but that one did very, very well with a female in the lead.

With the right writers and the right female lead, it'd do just fine.

Jovavich has done resident evil you know most of them just bombed right and Beckinsale really only has supporting roles except Underworld it doesn't matter how well she does with a good male Lead beside her  i doubt she could cut it in a Female true Sci-fi role

Nicolas Cage as Shepard: I couldn't take him serious enough. He's a decent actor but hes getting older and like many older actors they tend to play similar roles or almost play themselves. His delivery of lines would be funny though.

Idk about alternatives for Shepard but I always thought Piper Perabo would be a good Ashley.
