Honestly i doubt Femshep would be well received by anyone but ME fans i mean most action/sci-fi movies with female leads don't do very well

Sigourney Weaver? Alien series? ;)

that was then this is now how about in the last 10 years

Kate Beckinsale? Milla Jovovich? Jennifer Lawrence? Not saying that they should fill the shoes of Shepard, at all, but they certainly pull box-office numbers.

most of those movies don't do very well either though i am sure they would like to make money

In worldwide ticket sales, most of the Beckinsale and Jovovich films typically make back three times their production budget.  It's impossible to discuss The Hunger Games, given its rampant pop-culture fandom, but that one did very, very well with a female in the lead.

With the right writers and the right female lead, it'd do just fine.

Jovavich has done resident evil you know most of them just bombed right and Beckinsale really only has supporting roles except Underworld it doesn't matter how well she does with a good male Lead beside her  i doubt she could cut it in a Female true Sci-fi role

None of the RE movies bombed.

Flip through these and check out the "Worldwide" figure: Resident Evil; Underworld

Usually, ticket sales are between two- and three-times the production budget. That's not a bomb, even if it's not the same as whatever flavor-of-the-month science-fiction flick is tearing through the box office, such as the dreck that was Avatar.  And though they're entertaining, none of the RE or Underworld flicks are well-written, yet they still do fine enough to keep making them. Prometheus did well too, and the lead was Noomi Rapace.

Decent writing around a strong-enough concept and a decent director could potentially make a successful FemShep Mass Effect film, even though it'll never happen given the insistence of the promotional materials and brand recognition.  Nothing's set in stone without the right filmmaking essentials, though.

it could work but the Default Shepard is male so yeah i doubt they would make a Female Shepard in the movie

Well they've already said that Shepard WILL be male haven't they?

A shame, I'd have preferred FemShep as well.

Cage did Leaving Las Vegas, plot was pretty similar to ME3. So he could do it!

I'd prefer Andy Samberg as Nicolas Cage as Commander Shepard.

I like the idea of femshep as well.

I would chose Anna Torv for Shepard.

And Erica Cerra for Ashley.

If there ever would be a Mass Effect movie who would be best suited for the role of Shepard in your opinion? Nic Cage here can fit any role :D
