Someone on Facebook said that BW had wanted to do a FemShep/Wrex romance but it would have interfered with the genophage plot. If this is true, then I'd like to see it in romance DLC, with it affecting the genophage plot. Even if it was only a "I like you but we can't be together because my people need me" thing it would be awesome

I think there's really a couple of ways they could handle some romancing/LI DLC - the first, would just be an expansion of what's already in the game. Perhaps a few scenes inserted at key points of the story.

The second, as mentioned upthread, would be to tie it into a larger piece of story DLC, a la LOTSB.
