Right!
I know very well I am not the only one on this and so might as well make a little topic!
I always, always adored bioware games when I could make choices fairly often so the charecter I was playing actually felt like mine. Dragon age origins, mass effect 1 and 2 and because of that here is my worry!
In mass effect 3 it was dramatically different. I found my shepard spewing out line after line without the game allowing me to actually pick what she should say and when I had the option...it was often eough disapointing ( not always of course).
So please, please, PLEASE! Do not add tons of autodialogue to the game and make it into...I dont know something like fable ._. ( sorry! not the best example I know but others would have invovled cod and insults).
Thanks!
A plea! Bioware, no super auto dialogue game!

I did not have as big of a problem with ME3's auto dialogue as most people but I do share you concern.

Autodialogue is "unlikely to change much from DA2" according to Mr Gaider.

I could survive with that even though... in DA2 I personally did much like the Good/Joker/Harsh reply options but yeah in DA2 mostly was happy with they allowed me to pick! Know again some who disagree heavily but I dont think we will ever get DA1 level of choices again.

Let's not forget there are different teams working on DA versus ME. Just because something popped up in one franchise doesn't mean it will do so in the other.
I think in the past DG and others said they liked including Hawke in party banter, which I also found enjoyable. After all, if the people around you are talking about you, it makes sense you'd want to chime in from time to time. My understanding is that the dialogue wheel will remain in place and the conversations that occur in cut scenes will pretty much reflect DA2's model.

Well, if they do it like they did in DA2, where the character matches the personality you gave it, then I don't really mind it.

Well the DA2 autodialogue wasn't THAT bad. In Mass Effect 3 it went overboard.

In ME3 it was HORRIBLE.
Me: Well that ...sucks I guess
Shepard: MY HEART IS BROKEN BOO HOO!
Me: -sigh-

Despise what they did with auto-dialogue in ME3. Characterising auto-dialogue left right and centre that conflicted with the character i'd spent 2 games sculpting.
Very much a red line for me, so hope the encouraging noises that it won't be happening in DA3 hold true.

ME3 had more auto dialog and less would always be better so we have more choices but ME3 didn't have a huge amount. More than the previous 2 for sure but let's not exaggerate too much!
