medic class = LAME
Just my opinion, of course. You're under no obligation to agree. It seems to me that you could have gear allowing an existing class to be better at support and revive without having a full-blown kit centered around it. There's really no need to add that to the ME3 MP universe at this point.
So why wouldn't there be a need? We have plenty of combat support classes and pure offensive classes, but not a single health one.
Surely an engineer (think N7 Demolisher) that has a small pylon which periodically heals people would be useful. Or perhaps a combat medical drone that occasionally dispenses health and follows them around.
A nice reliable but not over-powered support class wouldn't be a bad thing, the game doesn't "need" anything. It should have it, if its fun, works and actually fills in some kind of role without being completely redudant*
*For example, Wraith is slow, accurate, powerful but fast to reload, and fairly light. AT-12 is fast, inaccurate , not as powerful and slow to reload. While being much heavier.
We already have gear that incrase shield survival and characters that help (Geth Engineer and N7 Demolisher) but not a single one for team health, (Vorcha obviously do not count).
Argubly shields are your real form of health, but health is a sort of buffer for players and it's only resupplied via medpacks of waves.
